Weapon Weight





I think big Guns with a heavy clip should have a little more weight and make you slower. Other way around the small handguns and knifes/daggers should speed you up a bit since they're very light. I find it very hard to catch someone who is fighting with a shotgun when I'm using a dagger, this is useful for people who prefer the melee fight. But the heavy weapon speed shouldn't be removed too much so it is still fair.

It would be insignificant.

No, you're supposed use guns to fight in Era, not melees. Melees are already annoying, no need in making them worse.  

I like the idea. Gameplay is so 2-dimensional and plain.  

Give more of an advantage to the smaller and weaker weapons.

There are ups and downs to this idea
Pros: guns would be more balanced and less pay2win
Cons: melees would become more widely used and might be able to overpower guns that are heavier

Well. It's a bit awkward that someone holding the Ap0 is running as fast as someone carrying a pistol. That Ap0 is a monster sized gun. Understanding that Ap0 is somewhat balanced at the moment, very powerful guns should have some slight speed reduction. The PBP can be powerful, but the user can't move around too much with that heavy gun.  

Make pbp and bar heaviest weapons in game im good.

Not necessarily. Melees are close range, and heavy guns are long range. Think archers and warriors.  

Oh lord, this would only encourage camping from BAR and PBP users.  

I like it and don't. It would give lighter weapons a slighter advantage, but heavy guns already have enough freeze. Plus, people would just run around with light weapons and use it as a speed boost.
