It isn't, but my friend's iPad is running the same firmware and my iPad is running 6.0.1, and they update fine.

Sometimes like a PC an iDevice just needs to be rebooted. It may sound simple and a waste of time but it has solved many of my own problems. Have you tried looking for solutions on forums like iFan or the Apple support community?

Honestly, I would really recommend updating to the latest firmware even though your friends is running fine. Did you install anything from Cydia to sync cracked apps with iTunes? |
