i'm probly gonna get some heat for this idea but hows about changing nexus or revolution to a casino/gambling place thats open every weekend only on weekends or 1 weekend a month. just make different rooms with different "mini games" with signs outside the rooms showing the # of players inside like the spar rooms at battle arena.

heres a few games i came up with:

• a chance event game for 25 players with there having to be a minimum of 8 players needed to start the event with a cost of 10 gralats a player and the winner receives the gralats collected from each player for there entry fee so 25 players= 250 gralat reward.
  
  
• horse racing for 10 players 100 entry fee 300 gralats for first 200 for 2nd and 125 for 3rd. roulette you wager 10-100 gralats just use a chest like the 1 in the chance event where it randomly picks a # or if players guess the # they win gralats.
  
  
• gauntlet spar 10 gralats to enter goes up to 5 rounds. win 10 gralats each round you win, your asked to continue after each round you win if you continue and loose you lose all gralats. you spar against a random opponent in the spar que.
  
  
• team fort you wager from 50-500 gralats and you randomly get paired with another player and compete against 3 other teams of players to capture there fort winning players get double the amount of gralats of there wager losing players lose double the amount of there wager. random chest 5 gralats to play choose from 3 chests your gralat is randomly placed into one of them if you guess it you get 5 gralats continues until you lose asked to continue after each round if you continue and lose you lose all gralats.
  
  
• lucky chests 50 gralats to play choose 3 chests out of 12 chests with random amounts of gralats inside each chests 1 is empty 1 has 5 bombs in it 1 has 5 arrows in it 2 have green gralats 3 blue gralats 2 have red gralats and 1 has a gold gralat 1 has a purple gralat. rps tournament same set up as gauntlet spar.
  
  
• baddy arena similair to gauntlet spar or the battle arena in gold saucer in ff7 100 gralats to enter 5 rounds each round you start with 1/2 less life you win 50 gralats per round after each round asked to continue. if you lose you lose all gralats.
  
  
• last man standing for 10-20 players 100 gralats to play just kill each other like in juggernaut and the last person standing wins 500 gralats.
  
  
• hot potato 50 to enter for 6 ppl 5 rounds each are 15-30 seconds somebody is randomly selected to start out holding a bomb and you just run around a room chasing the other players and who ever is left holding the bomb when the timer runs out is eliminated till theres 1 player left last player wins 250 gralats the room shrinks every round to make it easier to pass the bomb

just wanted to add that the reason i think it should be limited to one weekend a month is that it would give players something to look forward to and something else to save and plan for. i think it would also be good to limit the amount of games available and rotate the games that are available to play each month. that way players dont know what there gonna get.  

Gambling in Graal never seemed to work out, didn't they get rid of the RPS NPCs?  

most of them some still remain. i wasnt sure if you could gamble on era it would fit that game better than classic  

I like some of your ideas, but I think they may be better suited as stand-alone areas.  

I think the idea is brilliant but maybe like they have the game corner in pokemon, we would have a whole new small building maybe by the french corner of graal city.  

I think your right instead of a casino maybe it would be better just to have more mini games strewn out around graal. Like the archery mini game in onnet town or ctf. heres a few more mini games/events i came up with:

*drasaline racing- compete in a head to head race with an npc or beat the clock by pushing the action button to go faster or to jump like the R & J event.

*bombsticle course- dodge arrows, sliding spikes, ect. while being chased by a baddie and you have to carry a bomb that you have to drop in something get hit drop the bomb and start over all within a time limit 5 successful drops in the time limit get a bomb bag that lets you carry 25 more bombs get 10 and get a hat.

*Dig- just like in the zelda games you have to have the shovel u pay a npc to start its in a fenced off area and you have a time limit to dig and unearth gralats or you might dig up a bomb and take damage

*Bomber sumo- event for 50-75 ppl dodge bombs falling from the sky and pick them up before they explode and throw them at the other players to damage them. they get eliminated if they get knocked off the platform or run out of life points. no swords. would be quick and chaotic

*joust- for 50 players each player is on a basic horse and you run around attacking each other with your sword last person alive wins

*shot in the dark- 20-40 players in a dimly lit room shoot each other with arrows last person alive wins

*tug o war- for 32-players start with 2 teams of 16 similar to team fort place a statue in middle of room grab and drag the statue across the line first time to do this moves on to next round keep doing this and splitting the teams from 16,8,4 you can attack the opposing team with your sword.

*pick your poison- event for 60 ppl there is 5 warpers to choose from only 12 ppl allowed in each warper. 4 warpers send you out 1 warper sends you to next round. round 2 there are 4 warpers 3 ppl per warper 2 sends you out 2 sends you to round 3.
round 3 there are 3 warpers 2 ppl per warper 2 sends you out 1 sends you to round 4.
round 4 there are 2 warpers 1 ppl per warper 1 sends you out 1 sends you to winners box.
