I'm actually taking a turn on my view here. here. Is 90% of Classic not obtaining new items? We all enjoy it.  

I absolutely died of laughter when I read that news update.  

I think hat hunting is fine if your guild actually continues after they get a hat.

Covered PK, Towers, Spars, and Events already.
I think I play the same way anyone else does in 1 of these categories.

I never said I personally disapprove of hat hunting, I just was explaining how pointless discouraging hat hunting would be towards supporting the overall notion that guilds should not be used for the sake of obtaining items.  

I think the rewards should be phased out when the first ten guilds get them, and the rewards should be moved on to higher numbers of hours. People can still race to try and get their reward, but the rewards they do recieve would stay as special things.

First guild to 100k hours earns total dictatorship over iClassic.  

They really need to stop this whole reward system. Seriously it's a problem.

This would be unfair to the guilds that are fairly new. It would be an ongoing race with the guilds that have the most hours already.

Oh god... assuming 1 tower kept 24/7 that's 11.4 years of nonstop tower taking... even with 2 towers kept 24/7 it's 5.7 years
