I came up with a twist on the hide and seek event called the hunt. Instead of giving a hint to the hosting admins location they give a hint to a place with an item or npc that has a clue to the next item, and that gives a clue for the next and so on. They could do this for several clues until the last clue gives a hint to the admins location and the first 3 to find admin win the hat.
The obvious glaring flaw would be that ppl are going to cheat by finding the first clue then messaging their buddies or guild mates and giving them the location/clue for the next spot. Thus cheat to find the admin faster with out actually locating all the clues for them selves. I thought of two things for this.
1. the obvious and easiest thing to do is make a warper and the first how many ever ppl in the warper get warped to a seperate location until the warper is filled then everybody participating gets there chat functions locked for the duration of the event. Kind of how it gets changed when you do the team fort event.
2.The other fix for this would be to make it so you have to pick up an item or it keeps track if you touched the item to get the clues and you have to have all of them to gain access to the warper of the waiting admin. for example after getting the last clue it gives you a key to a locked house and inside the locked house is the admin or a warper to the admin.
I think the first of the two is better as it would help insure cheating. Of course you could use both or neither, or come up with a better way to run this type of an event. Either way I think it would be a nice away to add some length to the event.
