I agree with Rexx cameras=unnesissary. I myself have a 3DS and don't even turn on that 3D ****. And take pictures, no way completely stupid.

Some people may find them unnecessary, but to have them doesn't make it a worse product. Sure, you may not like them, but some games have taken advantage of them to render 3D "in real life." At the end of the day, the 3DS is the same cost as the DS but offers way more. Complaining about the cameras is useless when you don't really have to use them if you don't want to. Also, if I ever got a 3DS I'd probably play with the 3D picture functionality some. It may not be a lasting feature, but it's probably fun to play with a little. The thing already does 3D, may as well have the functionality there for those who want it. Do people complain about their phones doing more things than they find useful? Probably not. I never use my IM feature on my cell phone, but you don't see me complaining that it has the functionality to do so.

As for the 3DS itself doing 3D... either use it or don't, that's why they have the option The 3DS is still the successor of the DS, and if they marketed the same exact thing but without 3D then what would people complain about? Probably nothing.

And I'm saying the picture crap is useless because it seems no one even uses it. And anyways I dont know about you but if I want to show a friend a picture or whatever I don't pull out 3DS, and I'm sure no one else really does either.

First off, how does the 3D barely work? It displays 3d video and images....I say thats working 3D. Its a very nice effect, and anyone who looks at it could see that.

Now, for my argument as to "If you don't like it, dont use it".
If you don't like it, don't use it.

I can't stand wordpad on windows. But am I going to sit around complaining and whining about how much it sucks? No. You know what I do? I don't use it.

Its a perfectly good argument too, because its true. Just because you think something is stupid and unnecessary does not mean everyone thinks it is.
Contrary to popular belief, you are not the bar for what is necessary and wanted. I know, I know, disappointing...But its true.

And you say that people buy the 3DS for games, not other features on the 3DS.
You can buy it for the games...and those other features are exactly that. Features.
Added functionality for the people who want it. I like taking 3D pictures. I like using the internet on it, and taking notes during games. Its actually come in handy.

So, instead of continually whining about how the 3ds has features that you dont like, why don't you not use those features, and do what you want with it.
