Should I get a 3DS?

I've been looking at the 3DS for the past few weeks and have been thinking about getting it. The games look pretty great (LoZ, Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing etc.). I'd like to know what you guys think about the 3DS.

I havent got one but want one but im thinking of getting the ps4 at december but i want a 3ds for pokemon x and animal crossing and any other games. But i want a wii u for super smash

If you're planning on getting a 3ds i recommend the XL, but if you're a little short on money getting a normal 3ds wouldn't be a big problem. Just the XL has better battery life

PS, if you go outside with your 3DS put it on sleep mode!!

The 3ds is probably the best portable console of the moment (my opinion of course).
I just loveeee all the games ther are on 3ds...

Wow it seems like you all speak highly of 3DS. Well I won't be making a purchase for at least another two weeks. I like to research things and make sure I want it. Thanks for your help.
