I was thinking this same thing myself. In stead of making a graphical change just make the trigger zone wider. That way if somebody touches any part of the door they enter the tower. In Mods case the stair case on the re-spawn side should be widened to cut down on the chat blocking. When somebody does block the door at swamp like that for what ever reason. I try and hit them from the side to try and knock them out of the way so I can get through,however most of the time there is usually a mob of 20-30 ppl sword spamming and pking each other trying to get in. So its virtually impossible to try and clear the path that way. I also thought they could try and adjust the re-spawn area to where its a little further back of the tower,and when they get pkd it would act as if they where pkd inside the tower so they respan further back. |

I have also lagged out because of bad signal when attacking a tower and gotten reported for hacking/lagging and disconnected from server by an admin. Which I was not purposely doing. This is why changing the tower entrances or in critical areas is a better option then stricter punishment. I would like to know if admins or GP's work on a schedule so that there are always gp's on? I was told that they have to be on admin account at least 10 hours a week. I'm just wandering because there have been several instances where I have reported somebody and I know other members of other guilds have reported the same player and it seems like it takes the gp's forever to respond. Besides the blocker that prompted this thread over this last weekend My guild had taken York and this girl kept lagging out so bad she was respawning right next to the flag everytime and it took a little over 10 mins for her to finally get warped out and she came back within another 10 mins and its hard enough to defend crappy York they way it is with out having an attacker that re-spawns next to the flag. This is an instance where it became apparent she was using her lag to gain an unfair advantage on purpose and should've been banned. I really don't think there are many cases of accidental blocking just ask oooOooo how they got to 1k so quick. or see photo below. |

You see this is we're I reconcile noobs t tower , blocking a door and lag blocking are 2 different things ... By that picture you just showed me that tho thread is pointless

The two major blocking issues I see are the entrance at swamp and the stairs at mod. Somebody told me the old mod hat two sets of stairs. I really don't see why that was changed. Lets go down to one tiny ass set of stairs that gets blocked constantly and more often than not you have to fight to get into. Mod I could live with if they simply widened the stairs up to the flag room that would ease the congestion that leads to a pile up and massive sword spamming. Imo blocking the stairs from the re-spawn side isn't that bad. Idk if its stupidity or laziness,but ppl don't seem to realize its far quicker to go around then try and pk the blocker out of the way. I see blocking at the other towers as well I just don't care as much because I don't generally attack them,and see them as a waste of time with the exception of york. The only problem with york is thatit gets over crowded all the time making it very difficult to defend when your guild is full of afkers. |
