I literally pissed off Jade Quarry last week, at night I would take camps on their BL way faster than they could react.

Was that the match up with JQ FA and Maguuma? I think we had almost every point under JQ control in EB and BL so losing a camp or two for a tick wasn't a big deal. Those were some boring nights for us so it was always exciting when we got the chance to retake something.

Lol ik, but 5 points per camp per tick does add up, considering this is the work of one guy.

I would have like 2-3 camps under my control at a time(they would take em back), and once they start to catch on to my patterns, I switch maps.

Finally got my Twilight on my Guardian last night. Not a huge fan of it now I think about it. Kinda prefer my Volcanus more

Shortbow/Longbow rangers can easily solo camps in WvW

Non upgraded camps take me like 30-60 seconds, upgraded ones take like 2 minutes.

I use shortbow and longbow, mistfire wolf, toughness signet, the speed one(for mobility/damage), and the regen one.

Your pet and the wolf can tank everything while you quickly aoe down the whole camp with barrage/then switch to shortbow. Super fast clear. if it's upgraded, you just pull a few guards at a time.

Out of curiosity, is there a faster way to do this, or are there better classes to solo camps?

owowo shortbow on non-condi builds suck so badly, use GS or Sword / X with your longbow, it's all the range you need. not to mention shortbow dps is lol

longbow is good enough for kiting with knockback and stealth

Yes, I'm from maguuma. You guys had us outnumbered(apparently 2.5-3x the ppl) on every map so there was only so much we could do, haha.

Greatsword doesn't work for soloing camps, if you use that the guards will end up switching aggro onto you, which defeats the purpose of your pets tanking evetything. Shortbow has more dps than longbow with the exception of the barrage skill which is for aoe purposes(I use barrage, rapid fire, then swap to shortbow to use the interrupt to cancel the heal that the guards have)
