A lot of genres are like that. For example there are a ton of Swedish Melodic Death Metal bands, as the style was pionered here. Hardstyle was big in Holland + Australia, House originated in America but Americans didn't know what to do with it so Holland and Sweden took over, Dubstep is from London so you have tons of UK producers, Germans love Industrial so they have a lot of different artists in the sub-genres, etc. Local music scenes usually spawn many of the artists you hear, a lot of them are friends too. |

Progressive House. If you look for youtube playlists you'll find plenty like it. You can also check out di.fm.com and look under their progressive playlist.  Sadly there's a genre for that garbage and it's getting popular. It's called "moombahton", apparently a mix of reggaeton and house (according to Wiki). |

I occasionally hear Mexicans (31% of the population here) blasting songs with that "duh doo daht doon (repeat the entire song)" beat here in Vegas. I know its not moombahton but whatever music they listen to they all use that same thing. I guess its the mexican version of unce unce unce lol. |
