I will apologize in advance this is a little bit lengthy because its part story part idea.

First make a new level for when you enter the forest with a sign which has an arrow pointing to the left side of the screen and reads Cursed Forest where the which would be and when you enter the path it would be Onnet Forest like it is now except maybe the Npc has a little bit different dialog. On the sign there is a part that has worn off or is unreadable like in the cave next to Sardon's tower. On the right side of the screen there would be an odd looking tree that looks like it could be hiding an opening,and close by a stump with an weird indent on it with strange markings. Which is where things get interesting.....

Upon trading the scarf to an Eskimo in the hopefully soon to be released new area of Snowtown you receive a hunting spear. You then go trade the hunting spear to Floydian who decides to give up fishing and become a hunter and trades you for his fishing rod thus giving you the ability to fish. Then on your way back to graal city you stop off and talk to toll guy once again and he tells you he hears the fishing is great this time of year just south west area of Mod (just below the axe men and the drunk guy Marrin)

So you set off to fish and when you real in there's something caught on your line and when you real it in you see you have found a Neckless that belonged to Marrins dead wife who he starts remembering and runs off. After you walk north a few feet Holts shows you his appreciation by giving you a weird looking crystal. Hmmm I wonder where a crystal might work? So you head off to Sardon's and talk to Elster. He takes the crystal and inserts it into a hidden notch in the wall and the water fall starts running through his cave again. He thanks you and digs through his junk and gives you a statue with some familiar markings on it. He says he cant remember where he got it or where it came from but he doesn't need it so here you go.

When you return to Onnet forest and insert the statue with the weird markings into the stump the tree vanishes and a new path is revealed :-0
You enter to find the Hidden Elf Village. With an assortment of houses,shops and Npcs roaming the area. This would put an end to the quest and remove the quest folder in your inventory while also adding content. In closing I want to pose a question to you.

Supposing this was to happen and along with the new town there was a tower. To be able to access the new town and tower you would have to finish off this quest which would take time,and for noobs who have yet to complete the first part and unlock the mask shop and obtain the scarf it would take even longer to finish. So with that being said Do you think it would work to have too complete a quest basically as a requirement to access a tower?

I don't think the Onnet Forest should be changed since it does do more than other things.  

Ufo mate, you organized this pretty well, however i quite like the onnet forest as it is.  

This is a great idea UFO but can you think of a new place to trade the hunting spear because i quite like the Onnet Forrest as is is so the Noobs can get the "fun" of getting the mouse morph to start off their addiction to Graal.

I agree which is why I didn't want to change it much other than adding a new intro screen. I like that it's a small sub area for noobs to explore and get a free morph or a place to find rarer bugs,but I also see the potiental to squeeze a little more out of it.

I know they have area's with not much traffic unless there's a warper/event going on there. Imo those areas are being mostly wasted atm,and with small changes or additions may be put to better use.

For example:

Tie Air Asia Itself into Balamb so it's the only noob Island and change the Air Asia Island a little bit,and remove the logo from the balloon. I'm thinking clear some room by removing some trees in the north eastern corner of the Island,and moving the statue over there that currently sets just to the left of the balloon on the island. Then copy the entrance to the fox caves(like the 1 near graal police station) and add it as a door with an underground ancient ruins tower inside. When a guild takes the tower the logo is displayed on the statue itself outside for ppl to see.

I know the gfx admins have lives and a lack of time to do things in. Which is why we don't have much content and things take forever to get done. But I would think by making minor changes to the map,duplicating,and editing or slightly altering whats all ready there it would save quiet a bit of time.

Yes but I figure since Dusty says there is a lack of Dev's or Dev's with enough time to do stuff it would be far easier to use whats all ready in the game to save time and get new content out faster.  

The only thing in Onnet forest that needs to be fixed, in my opinion, is the maze. Each level needs to have something unique because the maze is random each time you enter and they use the same levels each time except for the first room and the witch's room. The only way to see progress is by having other people in the level so if you see them again, you're probably not on the right track.  

A good update for iClassic? I don't see any good updates coming.
