Looking at the specs its pretty nice, but honestly it's a bit expensive for what you get.

Also keep in mind it doesn't come with an operating system, so you'll also have to pay for windows 7/8 or whatever you prefer.

Building > Premade

For that money, you can get a rig much better than that. I forget which site fp4 uses, but he should definitely be able to help you pick out a great rig.

thats actually a pretty nice deal. get it.  

If you can create your own, it is not such a good deal. It is MUCH cheaper to build your own computer, not only that it will be much better. For example, this has 8 Cores compared to Amazon's 4. Only downside of this is that the computer casing won't look exactly like the one see on Amazon, because that kind of case looks pretty damn sweet and will be hard to find, but it is possible.

The build I created adds up to be 50$ cheaper and I am sure you can make it cost even less seeing as though I sped through creating this machine;

Unless you're one of those strange audiophile people (like me or Abyss to some extent), then I wouldn't recommend buying a sound card and instead using the money towards that in another direction. Sound cards aren't terribly important unless you're planning on using specific Amp/DACs to use in an audio setup; integrated sound on /most/ motherboards work perfectly fine, so I'd take this into consideration if you're planning on going the building route.
