Some one mentioned the word 'economy' the other day, and while reading this thread I got to thinking about what the implementation of that would look like... what if there was actually a living economy in graal, like that of oblivion/skyrim, where player money that went to buy hats and stuff was actually used somehow - lending the 'donation' fountain and all the endless gralats thrown into hats to be doing something other than disappearing?

Something along the lines of "When 500,000 gralats are pumped into the invisible fountain coffers, the railroad will open" or "when some one sells 200 bees to the witch in swamp, she is out of money for the day." might have some interesting results...  

I wouldn't mind little statues or trophy's that would be considered a furniture item that could be placed for display in player houses or guild houses. Kind of like you get on xbox live or on a ps account. This would go a long well with an achievement system. It would also give more purpose and stuff for players to achieve in game.

What function would this have? To allow players to dive underwater and or breathe under water?

Do you think a Zelda like item with the functionality of only allowing you to enter one area is okay to have in classic? <----not sarcasim I'm asking in general if players think it would be okay to have. I wouldn't be against it.

With the amount of players on at one time its hard to host events. I say we bring back player ran events within the level. Like old classic use to have the poison with beer mugs, or connect 4 within a house, etc. Same concept as the archery range or the crane game. Gives players something active to do besides pk, spar, guildwars. Thoughts?

I had thought of introducing poison into classic before. I wasn't sure if there had been poison in the game previously or how to introduce it or how it would work. Since there is limited health and you respawn where you die when killed out side of a tower. Idk how well a constant health drain would work until you get some kind of remedy. via potion,item,or npc.  

If I remember correctly, the poison game is classic didn't effect your health. Each player had a box there stood in that kept score. There were 9 boxes total. The beer mugs were in the middle, and were reset each turn. This is where I'm a bit foggy, but once your box opened I believed you had a certain amount of time to run to the middle, drink a beer and make it back to your box before the time was up. Before the box open you would bet how many beers weren't poison. Example, if you say 3/10 there's less chance to pick the right beer, but if you pick the right one, its more points to you and vice versa, if you pick 8/10 you have more of a chance but will get less points. The time limit is only to keep the players active, and first player with the to reach 50 (for example) wins. I may be wrong on a few details but I believe that's how the game went. It was actually pretty fun.  

I came up with a poison alternative: [\U]Cursed[/U]-this could be done 2 ways

1.you are stuck at 1Lp even if u get pkd you respawn at 1Lp until u get cured by whatever means.

2. You get turned or morphed into something like a blob baddy and your stuck in that form until cured by whatever means.

For both instances your item buttons would be locked. Meaning you could not attack,or use a mount.
Unless you where to have potions or consumable items as the cure.  

Got a new idea for an item. Idk if it has been done on the other servers (Zone/Era) but how about a Flash light?

Not only would it be an alternative to the lantern to light your way threw dark caves but you could point it at ghosts to make them dissolve so you can collect there goodies without trying to catch them with your net over and over again.

I know it wouldn't exactly fit the Classic "mold" but who cares. nothing wrong with thinking out side of the box.
