Pretty sure you don't need 16 gigs of ram to run Crysis 3 maxed. You'd be better off buying a better cpu or gpu(the GPU FP4 mentioned is top of the line, the cpu is mediocre) than paying for 16 gigs of high performance RAM.

I'm not gonna argue with fp4 though, he's far more experienced than me and knows what he's talking about much better. If he says something that is different than what I say, he's most likely right.

alright. (i think it takes 8gb of ram to run at max settings for crysis).

The i5 4430 is only clocked 0.4 GHz lower than the 4670K at stock which is about 12% slower in theory but in practice the difference will be hard to notice. Given that each generation is about a 10% IPC boost, the i5 4430 likely performs similar to a 2500K at stock.

Crysis 3 is still 32-bit so it doesn't even use more than 2-3 GB of RAM at most. You shouldn't have any issues playing it on a mix of High/Ultra settings.  

how much of a difference will there be between the fx-4300, that i chose, and the intel i5 4430? because if the AMD fx 4300 only generates more heat and takes power then im find with more heat
