New Guild House/House Levels
Okay, so I've been pondering this for a real long time and I've been wondering "why hasn't iClassic seen any new house levels in the past 4 years?" Now, before you all say something about the low amount of iDev Levelers on iClassic, just think about this: For the people that host & do events on iClassic to make time go by faster and helping people with gralat issues, this can be a serious deal. Self-hosted events such as my own rely on the use of constant house changes, and after 4 years, I think we do deserve to see atleast 2 or more new levels. Having more people playing is also a factor, with the mindset that people like to be individual and expressive (espically teens...), and having people conjure this into their own houses is pretty cool! Now, lets move on to the part we all know we're gonna argue about. The lack of iDev Levelers. We could do this one way and make the Levelers do all the work, or we could do a little contest (i.e. People submit their levels, best 4 get gralats) . Contests would reduce the load we put on the workers and give Levelers a taste of how we as Graalians express ourselves (also dosent hurt to find hidden talent). This might be a far-fetched idea as of now, but when you think about it, it could really help set iClassic apart from other servers in terms of cooperating with players & giving them a chance. In my wants & needs for Classic, personally I'd put this on the top of my 'want' list, and all I (we hopefully) can do now is hope. |

It would be neat to see a couple new styles, but I don't think this is one of those things that is really going to make Classic stand out.

Oh man, if only I hadn't saw the 50+ feedbacks today about this! Creating new levels for these is actually fairly simple. Single levels aren't the hardest thing to do, and it's not like the other houses have set a very high standard to match. I was actually contemplating adding some more house types, but I'm actually not sure if the system currently in place for picking houses will support more than what's already there(ie I don't know if it scrolls). This complicates things a bit. Other than that it might be a fun little side project for me to do. Maybe Rufus will let me do a cowboy-themed house with the old Nexus stuff. |

I was thinking about this the other day. It would be really nice if we could move things around in the houses such as the entrance. I would really like that. Or possibly move where the actual house is. I'm sure there are complication, just throwing it out there. House related things are nice especially because I feel that houses/furniture get the short end of the stick. Some event furniture would be lovely. Oh and I love the idea of the cowboy house! |

Imo they should change GH's to be just rooms or the inside of the houses instead of a whole separate bigger area with multiple buildings or areas to enter like they are now. The current GH's should be an upgraded Player home that can be opened to the public. There could be some kind of furniture that would allow for a player to touch it and be given the option to warp to the Gh or upgraded house from the player house. IMO Gh's don't need to be more than a place for all your guild mates to gather or hang out and their is no real need to have outdoor areas. Btw I would still like to see new door types added. I.e. morph only doors, secret triggers that open hidden passages like the book shelve in Fox's mansion, maybe one way doors or trap doors that warp you out when you try to enter. Or even secret holes that you could place blocks or crates on top of that you would have to push out of the way to reveal like in the bandit caves. Either way I see a lot of room for more Customization options in houses. |

I have said this millions of times but i will say it again , I think they should make new house levels and sell them in shops, how you ask? Sell doors, you buy a door add it to a wall in your house, or maybe even a tree outside and you have an added room. What are your thoughts?

Better housing system would be very cool, but I have absolutely no desire to completely redesigned and create a new and very complex system. I don't know if there is anyone else who would do it either. The idea of being able to move things like the houses around is interesting and way more possible than the overhaul, but the system isn't exactly designed for that. The way warps and such work would kind of make it a headache. |

I'm probably contradicting myself again, but when creating things its always best to stick to the Kiss rule which is: Keep It Simple Stupid |

I think it would cool if you could pay $.49-$.99 in the shop to add on extra rooms to your guildhouse... Mines starting to fill up.

What if you took all the current house/guild house interior levels, duplicated them, and added more doors or stairs to the current layout for the duplicate level for more rooms. So what you'd start out with is the original house/guild house, but you'd have the option to upgrade to the duplicate level for an extra $# of gralats to gain access to more rooms to what you currently have. I can see this working better for guild houses, because with houses the most you'd probably get is an additional room, nothing else really because houses are meant to be small. Guild houses should have up to 3 new rooms, just because they're so big.

I would love to see a western style house! I'm not a big fan of guild houses because they are too big and they aren't open to the public. I've always been a big fan of the western era. If you can, Dusty, make the western style house.

I want more variety and more customization. Oh wait, that'll never happen.
