RC-skin by Aeko/Clockwork, downloaded from the GraalOnline forums. Custom skin is in progress.

I'm developing an open source alternative to the official rc as the official one hasn't been updated for Windows since 2006. The point of the project was for me to learn how to deal with GtkSharp, Mono and cross-platform .NET/Mono development.

The RC mimics the look and feel of the official one and will have the same features + improvements.

Features so far:

• Cross-platform, one build works on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
• Has the same support for skins as the official one.
• Toalls window.
• PM windows that works more like in modern IM's.
• IRC-tabs + chat.
• RC chat + commands.

Binary and source download will be available as soon as I've implemented all the basic features.

Awesome! Sadly graalonline managment don't move his ass to give us new softwares so we have to do it yourselves x.x

hyperlinks and horizontal scrollbar. I also take it it doesn't have all the GUI quirks that GTK has?

It uses GTK for the windows. What quirks are you referring to though?  

Bout time someone decides to do this! Looks awesome RC really needed an update

I hate when it decides you are trying to drag text.

Autocompletion(for jumping to a list entry) is also wonky--it doesn't seem to reset based on your last keystroke, but a certain time after you started typing. It often resets in the middle of typing.

When you press up to get your last text input it puts the caret at the beginning of the text rather than the end.

In multiline text when new text is added(like in RC chat) that exceeds the horizontal window, it sets the scroll focus to the right edge, forcing you to have to scroll back to the left.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, or at least GUI issues I have with the current RC.

Those may not necessarily be GTK quirks but rather how Stefan programmed the application. I will have this in mind.
