house effects Furniture

Just wanted to get other peoples thoughts on furniture we have to buy in order to add extra effects to our houses rather than just adding them to a menu somewhere.

examples:

weather (snow/rain)
turn pk on/off

there is also light orb, radio, and a couple of older 'rain' effects (rose something and heart storm i think?)

I would like to see a device that could change the tileset of your house to snow/lava/swamp/whatever... so that we could have the same layout but alter the feel of the environment... maybe this could be a band-aid fix to the limitations on the number of house levels available?

I'm learning there is so much you can do with your house with just a little bit of imagination and creativity and of course gralats to buy furniture. I have a maze in my Gh that requires you to do this and that to find and use passwords on password blocks. I have the hidden gnome/treasure hunt in my player house. And I just got a great idea for my next project.
