Will I Run Into Issues With This CPU Upgrade?

So I'm currently using an AMD Phenom X4 960T @3.0 GHZ(3.4 GHZ turbo) processor.

I plan to upgrade to this-an amd FX 6350 6 core @3.9 GHZ(4.2 GHZ turbo):

My motherboard is am3+ compatible and should be able to power it, so that isn't an issue. My concern is that a while back I modified my registry to disable core parking. Will I have to reinstall my windows OS for this new processor to work properly? Should the upgrade go smoothly without issues? I'm a tad bit worried that the processor wont work since I messed with my registry earlier.

Not really, it reloads CPU data upon start up, any changes will be overwritten.
You should be concerned about the cooling, power consumption though.
