GraalOnline Apocalypse
New graal game... Basically this is a somewhat survival game that takes place on distant island of Wundre where players are forced to fight living legends, tribes, and eachother! The game features lots like monsters, tribe system, and unique gameplay. GraalOnline Wonder: Tutorial- You are on a cruise ship with friends and family(basic movement and talk controls) when an unknown creature causes a GASH in the boat causing sharks to swim aboard(fighting controls) and kill off people. Eventually the ship crashes on a distant island and your new life begins... Plotline- You and some survivors from the world's biggest cruise land on a island Many call Wundre(Wonder) Island. The captain has set up shop for survivors and you have 500 graalats on you...its time to buy your starting melee: Fireaxe- 7 damage, slower speed, can break down barricades.300$ Kitchen knife-5 damage, fast, used for cooking animals.250$ Pool cue-5 damage, moderate speed, can be worn on back. 100$ Shark tooth sword- 6 damage, moderate speed, movements like katana but can't be worn on back. Now that you have a weapon it is time for you to find out what Wundre has to offer... Areas- follow the paths or roam freely Wundre Island takes place on two different maps: Island(bigger area) and the small portion that is civilized. First of all you can go where ever, whenever. The jungle is classified by 3 categories: -clear areas= normal level baddies, normal stuff, normal shops. -red areas= higher level baddies, Tribes that might attack or sell you items, normal but different items -black areas= deadly level baddies, all hostile tribes, VERY NICE SHOPS, valuable plants that can be used for medicine Black areas are in the center of the island and the red areas surround them. Clear areas are everywhere else. In the civilization district there are many things: Guns like handguns, rifles, and shotguns...not many of them though and ammo is limited. Guns are of course, hard to come by and considered rare. Jobs like theft, trashpicking, bounties, digging, and street performing. Angry noobs Bars where you can get drinks, hang out, and Learn things. Jobs- Theft-Players use sneak shoes to sneak into people's houses and steal whatever they want. You mainly break in for money and ammo but there is a chance for bodies, hats, masks, sellables, journals and rarely a weapon. You have one minute to steal stuff but while stealing you move slower than usual. Street performing- play an instrument, dance, or beg for 1-20$ per happy civilian. Bounties- in the jungle there are tribe leaders and monsters with money on their heads. Kill them for various amounts of $$$ or a special prize. Trashpicking and digging you already know. Digging has a chance to spawn a LARGE crab that does 15dmg per hit and can drops large crab sword, armor, or helmet. The slums- A district in the city where street fights( spars, duels, and trades can occur.) are rampant. More info: Spars- normal pvp spar like era. Duels- where players can only use hand to hand, melees, or traps. Trading- trade is 150$ but on these tables you can hold 8 items and tapping on the items gives you description. No law against dropping but then again, if your scammed...no luck. Tribes- when it comes to factions you can join/create tribes. More info on tribes later on just keep reading. Features- There are many legends, monsters, and rares scattered throughout the island. These things include: LEGENDS) Bigfoot- 9 damage per hit, massive knockback, worth $2,000 if his head is looted and sold at legend shop. Red zones. Tribal Colossus-a resurrected ?Titan". 35 damage per hit, knockback with stun for 5 seconds, but slower than most. black zones.$0 Vishas- man with bar(btw bar doesn't exist in this game) in black zones. Fast. Bounty for him always gives 500$ Zen- slow undead therapist said to be torn apart by Colossus himself. Survived with only 15 health left... Zen is a black monster with three red piercing red eyes and a mysterious symbol on his back. He wanders BLACK areas searching for Colussus. He is quite the foe, does 10 damage per hit, chance to teleport away from opponents, confuses opponents when hit with melee, has chance to spawn in your home as furniture after killed. Can drop a an eyeball that shows the location of Colussus. The ship's captain-after you leave the tutorial and buy your weapon the captain disappears. You find him later in the center of the black zone, hung from a tree, bloody, and battered. On the ground near him are his journal(he runs into zed and tries to help him...but eventually he is driven mad from being with Zed and tries to kill him. Zed beats the captain to near death and leaves him for the tribals who torture him and hang him.), Captains Zed blade( black 12 damage blade), and bloody captain hat. Larry- Man in the black zone with a book known as "Rue". He has 2 functions. He will commit suicide if attacked which allows you to take Rue. He will tell you to kill Zed if grabbed for a reward(Rue and then he will commit suicide). Rue- A demonic book many say is inhabited by "the red one". If Rue is in hotbar then all bombs and hands do +2 damage. Rue can't be read but if held up(attack button) will poison and slow enemies in a 5 foot radius. Rue will confuse you randomly as a result of the madness. If held in hotkey for 100 total hours your character will start to randomly die which can be reversed by dropping the book for 24 hours. Complex Lisa- undead floating woman with a scythe who beleives that Zed is a kind spirit. She will fight you on sight with her THROWABLE scythe that deals 15 damage, shadow warp affect, and wearable on back. Lisa can spin the scythe to reflect bullets back at you or absorb them for health. The damage of the gun goes toward her health is absorbed. She can be killed for her scythe but you cannot spin the scythe like she can. Black zone. Wandering merchant- grab him for a shop that sells nice things. Red and Clear zone. MONSTERS) Werewolf- fast beasts that you can become or fight against. When you become a wolf you can use an amulet to run like a wolf for +5 speed and buy from wolf shops. Join by finding wolf den in RED zone. Vampires- Creatures of the night that you can become or fight against. When you become a vampire you can use an amulet for +2 speed and +3 damage. Join by finding the house with the coffin in the city. Evil plants- plants that don't move but will lash out at you. Varying damage Hostile Animals- animals that are mean and sometimes drop items. Tribals- cannibalistic tribe members who will try to kill you on sight. Varying damage Demons- demons possess item and force you to fight them. Afterwards you must fight the demons. Varying damage. TRIBES) Tribes are the guild system in iWonder. They work together to survive the treacherous island. Tribes compete for land in tribe wars. Tribe wars- To own land for tribe wars a tribe must find a group of tribals camp, kill them all, and hold that area. Whoever kills the last tribal gets the camp. If a player without a tribe gets the last kill then it doesn't count and the second to last kill is counted and so forth. The deeper into the jungle the more points you get per minute. Clear zone= 1point per min. Red zone= 3 points per Min. Black zone= 5 points per Min. While holding a camp the tribes must fight off npcs, players, and respawning tribals! Remember that the deeper into the jungle the stronger your foes. Rewards: 4000 points= Tribe hats 6000 points= Tribe bodies 10000 points= Tribe weapon(like a spear or sword or machete) 11000 points= another hat. 14000 points= Tribe hideout in the city 18000 points= Tribe can open up a shop and can sell things that go towards its points. This system is supposed to be very tough. Once a tribe reaches its maximum potential it will be entered into the tribe hall of fame and can now spend it's acquired points to change the design of hats, weapons, shop, and hideout. FUN FACTS) Wondre features few magical items, lots of melees, lots of enemies, some amount of guns, and alot of land. Tribals will often try to attack the city. Be on the front lines to hold them back. There will be more legends to sprout up in Wondre as the game advances. Instead of a holiday shop Wondre features a holiday legend that has a chance to drop treasures and clothing and weaponry! Undead also tend to wander around the black zone but there is no record or proof that they are hostile. Never swim in the jungle. Things live their. There are hidden secrets all around Wondre. Not all of them are good secrets. Tribals vary on where they are in the jungle. Finding a tribal leader in the black zone is a death sentence for more than 2 players...unless they are very skilled. Additional content) Tribals also have ranks: Tribal leaders: They are the strong ones that are faster than average players. Their power varies on position in jungle. Tribal doctors: they will heal Tribals when near. They can only deal 9 damage no matter where they are. Tiki idols: these are like buffs for the tribals. The buff varies on color of idol: -red=damage, blue= speed, green= health, black= affects such as poison/burn/slow/reap. Tribals: normals that do different damage depending on position in jungle. -------- Shadow warp(one that randomly teleportation enemies), bleed, curse, and cripple are new affects in Wondre. Legends like Zed have low health but make up for it with brutality. |

Could you make an introduction or summary paragraph to get me invested in the idea before jumping in to all the little details? It would be quite helpful. |

Major flaw in the storyline: I just got attacked by a shark on a huge cruise ship. My friends and family are dead. I'm depressed. I'm stuck with a bunch of strangers on a godforsaken island wondering how I'm going to survive. Oh! Thanks for the money, captain! Let me go buy something from that monkey over there! Not quite. Also, if there even is a 'civilized' portion of the map who is capable of developing modern weaponry- wouldn't they also be capable of scavenging the ship, or receiving a distress signal from the ship in the first place and bring those guns and save the day? That sort of defeats the whole purpose, even if part of the island is uncivilized. There would have to be a pause in time, where it fast forwards to months later when a small civilization created from the survivors where the player is maturer and better skilled in combat and ready to start his/her way in being an active contributer to the small society. There's no guns. If there were any on the ship, they ran out of ammo user defend from the tribal groups. Now they're entirely defenseless and have to learn to adjust to survive like the natives do. There's also not a whole lot of theft between the group. In order to survive, the survivors had to learn to work together. In the time since the disaster, they've created intimate bonds with one another as a small community, with the captain as governor. You see this as the player interacts with NPCs and everyone seems to be acquainted and familiar with one another at this point. Now, if you still want there to be theft, steal from the natives. But make sure there's also an alternative to encourage players to also help build tribes and even become apart of them (as you mentioned). Tribes would become an equivalent to AP, except there's more than two extremes as there are multiple tribes. There has to be benefits to each one, so players aren't all compelled to jump to one side and leave the rest blank. The more options and opportunities, the better. |

[QUOTE=Blueh;464733]Major flaw in the storyline: I just got attacked by a shark on a huge cruise ship. Something big attacked and tore a gash in the ship which caused sharks to get aboard...still a little farfetched but they don't just appear. The ship was sailing in open seas and just happened to sink or crash into this island after being attacked by an unknown sea creature...the ship and the island are not connected as the island(sorry if I forgot to mention) is a somewhat poor one. Thought the street fights, rampant theft, and begging would help you get that. You are carrying 500$ on you and use it to buy from the captain, not the monkey(Though I am interested his merchandise more). The civilized people would have to go through the natives before they could even get a chance to help the people on the cruise and remember that the natives and civilians don't exactly get along. This is a graal game, not everything needs to make sense ;P As for the player joining with and befriending the natives? There are civilized tribes you can buy from but I think that should be about it as friendly interactions with natives go. Think of the civilization as a colony among the natives.I do appreciate the criticism however. Gives me alot to think about. |

Ooh, there should be a simple crafting system... Think about it, you could craft basic components with stone, wood and metal. Stone could convert to be knappped and chisled into arrowheads, spearheads, mortars and pestles, ect. Wood could be used to make bows, weave into weak shields, ect. And most metal could be salvaged and rusty, and can be used for metal blades, arrowheads, and homemade guns once you have the know-how.

You have the ability to craft in a separate game idea of mine but I don't find it necessary for this game. So that is a no to the crafting.

Good idea. Now find a graal coder, a gani designer, a gfx designer, and admins that will moniter your server 24/7. And pay $50 to corrupt snk so he can host it and he can give you limited features. These are just ideas. It will never happen. Sorta like communism xD Sorry. |

Lol if only you had the money to invest into a professional game development team. There are much better ways to make a game than graal, you could make a lot of money even if it doesn't turn out to be a blockbuster and you wouldn't be limited to the extent of gscript's power and possibly some limited technical trickery.
