Thanks for the advice. You are correct. I got it at the time because it was the cheapest PSU that had good reviews but still had enough power for my needs. I might be mad if it was not so cheaply priced and otherwise reliable. I run it 24/7 and it is rock solid. Besides the cards I am only running a 95watt Phenon II x6, 16gbs of 1666MHz DDR3 and a 256gb SSD "all my old hard drives are in other PCs or USB enclosures". Also note my build is like 3 years old and mostly low-mid end stuff then. so I wouldn't recommend it for heavier loads. I also have a AVR stabilizing my voltage levels.

I am also aware that CrossFireX is not helpful on everything, so it really depends on what you want to run. One powerful card and a CPU with less cores but higher clock speeds would probably be ideal for most people.
