Saturday April 26, 2014, episode 179 has just came out. During the Grand Magic Games, Gray Fullbuster comes face to face with Rufus hoping to seek revenge from the last battle with Rufus which he lost. The battle starts and it seems that Gray has no chance in beating Rufus with his Memory Make Magic, Juvia desperately wants to turn back and help Gray defeat Rufus, but she must stick to strategy Number one (First Guild Master of Fairy Tail) has planned out, so all that is left is for her to have faith in Gray and hope for the best. The battle continues and still seems that Gray will not leave the battle victorious, but Gray's greatest power, his memory of the things he loves, helps and motivates him to win the battle. Gray has won the battle because the power of his memories are to strong for even Rufus to beat. Now since that's settled, Natsu, Lucy, Yukino, Mirajane, Charlie, Happy, Wendy, and panther lily are all stuck in the depths of "hell". Will they make it out alive or will they all eventually die in there?

I assume you mean anime-only so I've fixed the title. I don't think that the battle in the last episode was that great. I think I'm a bit tired of 'character gets their ass kicked and then do one move and win' fighting, it doesn't build up suspense. Juvia is fast becoming my favorite character on the show though.

As a side note, since Fairy Tail '2' the studio that is doing the series has changed. Apparently this was going to bring in a better art direction, but I'm not really liking it so far. Dunno if anyone else is having the same experience.

Just started watching fairytale on netflix, pretty funny and seems to know how to ease into character development- starting mainly with gray
