Aye. Sadly for those interested, I've long since retired from izone and I'm not sure anyone else has picked up the development of this project.

Zone War I is a mega even I originally planned out for halloween, and the month of october. However, as this will not be used, I've adapted it into a month long event that I'll work towards releasing in the future. To spice zone up for a month. It can also be repeated resulting in ZWII, ZWIII, ZWIV, ZWV, ect.

I'll break it down in 4 parts, one part for each week, as well as an extra idea corner. Let's start.

Part/Week 1

Zone has been invaded! The tileset is changed to show all of Zone's familiar haunts broken down and scorched. Start park has been replaced by a strategic military base, or...if you wish to be all termilogical...a Forward Operating Base or FOB for short.

This base will have a few accessible tents serving different purposes. An armory tent selling some weapons for the month, a medical supply tent selling food and meds (this will require us bringing back food), a command tent where you will get missions, and some other general buildings.

Although Zone will have been invaded, you will not see any invaders until you speak to the commanding officer in the FOB. Once you speak to him, you will be able to enlist to defend Zone. You will receive an outfit (hat and body) that all the NPC Zone soldiers wear.

After you enlist, you'll be able to see and be attacked by invaders. A new statistic will be shown in your profile...invaders killed. This week is solely about killing invaders.


Part/Week 2

Same as part/week 1, except now the invaders are bringing out the elite troops. Invading baddies are generally harder to defeat.

Part/Week 3

The invaders are on a tactical retreat, and Zone is following them in the hopes of crushing them once and for all!

A new galaxy appears, along with a new planet. This is the invaders home planet, and baddies here will be harder than ever. A new FOB has been established and you're given the task of destroying the enemy where he stands. There are random invaders to kill, and every hour an invader camp will pop up, completely swarming with baddies, which must be demolished.

A new stat is added to your profile...Invader camps ravaged.

Week/Part 4

Invaders have been destroyed. Zone must be rebuilt, and the invader planet must be colonized. Bars will appear over buildings on the new planet and Zone saying #/10,000 and each grab repairs/builds the building.

The person who grabbed the 10,000th time is awarded a special prize.


Extras:

Achievements can be created in terms of "War Medals" which are shown off like dolls.

ZWI Veteran Medal - Participated in the first zone war

Commando Medal - Killed 50 Invaders

Etc.



We can have zone wars every 4th month, with all new invader species and a new planet to conquer and colonize each time.


TL;DR

Here is my weapon idea:
Medigun - Heals allied players and squads ( Medic Class only )
Heals 5 hp,no ammunition required,change to give you a boost
