Based on what you've seen, tons of those anime are focused for/popular in the west. Well seeing how you watch tons of those shonen, can't say you'll really like Hunter x Hunter since it is not mainly a fighting, but it's amazing for it's character and story writing, heck the last episode was pretty much a group of guys standing in one spot the whole episode, but the dialouges between the characters are what made it such an intense episode.
A series similar to Yu-Gi-Oh is Cardfight Vangaurd (I only know about this since a bunch of my friends plays the card game and is a big strategic and luck based game)
The currently airing and most standout of this season is No Game No Life, has tons of humor, serious strategic moments and amazing art style.
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya is a magical girl series that is a spin off from the Fate Project (Highly recommend to watch Fate/Zero aswell, but it's a more mature series). I've only seen the first episode, but it's getting a second season, so it must be pretty good in Japan.
Now for more Hunter x Hunter discussion:
Hunter x Hunter is not like your regular shonen series. It has a more complex fighting system then the typical, "oh I trained for a few days and got super power will no backfire to completely destro... damn this enemy has an even more OP power than me." The most popular arc is it's current one called the Chimera Ant, which has a potential of being a seinen series instead of Shonen. What makes the Chimera Ant so unique is it's character development and the story writing itself is pure gold. Hunter x Hunter is rated in the top 15 anime in MAL for a reason.
