So it seems I'm left with no other choice than ebay...

Everywhere I look, 12gb console-only deals are all sold out conveniently.

And everywhere else I look, they only offer special 230$+ entertainment bundles.

@GOAT, buying from the fuzz? My god, the world never stays the same does it...  

Get a ps4. Ps3 will be dead within 2015. By then most people will have upgraded to next gen and games will be stopped being made for current gen.

He already said he wants a PS3 only. I didn't get an Xbox 360 until 4 years after it came out and I was still fine. I've had 5 years with it before the Xbox One was released. I highly doubt it will be dead in 2015. I have yet to see games released for next-gen consoles that hold much more significance over the Xbox 360/PS3. Most of them have been multi platform.

And honestly, the PS3 and PS4 aren't that much far apart in terms of specs.

Just get a PS4 and you can stream PS3 games straight to it. I can't remember when the service will be released though...

I believe it's called Playstation Now and it's in a closed beta. It's been released that you have to pay to rent the games to stream onto your PS4 just this week, pretty ****ty.

I dunno, i understand the cheap gaming portion, if you have a PC, theres some great games for great prices on PC and what not. But soon, the current gens wont have anymore games made for it forcing people too upgrade so game devs can go nuts with features and stuff. THe only reason why theres no real good next gen games is because they still want money from current gen, bf4 for example was originally built for next gen consoles and PC. But ea being ea wanted it on 5 platforms. It made a difference, they couldnt add in a ton of features that were planned to be added because of this. I personally would like the next gen because of the upgrades and way better performances. I still say go with a ps4.

For $350, thats a GREAT price for a next gen. If you don't want this, i would wait. The PS3 will be dirt cheep in 4 months. IGN Deals is a website with a mail subscribed newsletter that gives great deals. I'd check it out. http://www.ign.com/deals/
