Wii U
I am currently on the fence about getting a Wii U. I am interested, but don't know exactly if I want it yet. Anyone of you guys own a Wii U, and if so, do you like it or not and for what reasons? Ty xoxo

Well I was pretty torn between getting a PS3, 3DS, or Wii U (went with PS3) but what I really wanted a Wii U for was mainly Super Smash Bros 2 when it comes out. XOXO bb. |

I received a Wii U less than a year ago and I like it. I love/hate the gamepad though. I don't like how it has to constantly be on wasting battery when you don't need it and is sometimes the default control option for first player in local multiplayer sessions. However, the graphics on it are amazing and it's easy to play with for the most part. The community is overall pretty nice. Winde Waker HD made it really enjoyable to communicate with people by sending tingle bottles to everyone. With Super Smash Bros. U coming out I'll probably be glued to it for awhile. I have so many consoles though so the time I spend on it differs since I like to alternate between them.

Yeah. It's a nice console and, though it's not as beefed up as the other consoles, I haven't been in any situations where it's been noticeable. Games are playable and just as fun as any other Nintendo games you've played.
The game pad is obviously a gimmick that we could do without. That being said, it does add a little bit to some of the games like Pikmin 3 and Wind Waker. I haven't had a time where it has neccessarily gotten in the way; if you don't want to use it simply don't. (But get a Wii U Pro Controller unless you are comfortable with Wii Remote + Nunchucks you may have laying around.) Some other upcoming games that look cool:
I regretted getting the Wii U at first, but I don't anymore at all. Definitely suggest it. (Don't get bundle with Nintendo Land. It's just dumb.) |

The gamepad is great of playing while watching something on TV or someone else is using the TV. Also you can easily play if you're going on a train ride or anywhere else without a TV and with powe outlets. Just take the console, power cable, and gamepad and you can play most games off the gamepad.

Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 were enough reason for me to pick up one, easily put more than 10 hours into both of them. Both are fun to play in co-op. |

I own a Wii U myself and I LOVE it! But, it really depends on the games you want to play. As a big fan of Zelda, Mario and other big titles I would recommend it greatly. I got Assassins Creed Black Flag for it and it is really amazing, it has the map on the gamepad and is exactly the same gameplay as any other console. Graphics wise, they're very good. It is great for playing with friends, but is just as fun playing by yourself. But really, it all comes down to what games you want to play. You can also watch youtube and all that from the Wii U itself. Also, Mario Kart 8 and 3D World are amaze balls. SUPER SMASH BROS 2 OMFG CAN'T WAIT. I have to admit it, I love Animal Crossing and Pokèmon as well OPEN WORLD ZELDA GAME COMING SOON OMFG! |

I have an Xbox one and ps4 already so as far as third party games go...I'd still rather get them on there. I only want a Wii u for their exclusives really...lol

Honestly the only reason to buy the Wii U is the exclusive titles. I personally think it's not worth the money but if you really like Mario, LoZ etc. then go for it.

I reallyyyyyy wanted a Wii U when I saw the preview of the LoZ game coming out; seems like a stunning game. I don't think I'll have the time to earn money and buy one, but oh well, still looks awesome
