Been here before too with an old head of mine. Shame really, although if I remember correctly they send a message saying Your upload has been deleted because "_______" However, it is very easy to miss this message, and most of the times the staff member is being too harsh. The fact that the refund (atleast for me) was only half of what I paid- it made the situation a lot more frustrating for me. It's like I am paying real world money I get from working at my job and it return some random kid that is probably younger than me is going to log on sometime and see it, delete it, with barley giving me a justifiable reason, and only return half of the gralats I paid real for cash for. Then he is going to go on his merry way with his staff boots and stealth mode. |

I agree with this they need better staff from accepting/deleting uploads. Though I only had one problem from them so far, which was my shield (public) being deleted without any warning or a refund.

It's true that they need some mature staff for uploads, but they also need to change some rules. 1)Gif bodies:Just disapprove the ones who flash 2)Bodies on 4 feet:Approve them! 3)Don't say:Your upload has been deleted because no head used as head. 4)Be sure to check if the head/body isn't copyrighted/offensive when uploaded. 5)You must have a valuable reason to remove a custom(Shouldn't happen if they follow these rules) 6)Well this is more of a system but yea, they should alway have an admin who checks other admins customs approval or disapproval, incase that someone disapprove a body for no valuable reason or incase that someone approve a body that shouldn't be approved. 7)Hire some adults or atleast hire some people with the sense of responsability. 8)Don't hire 7-8-9 years old, at that age they are too young to understand that with great powers comes great responsibility. 9)If you delete something you must give the exact amount of gralats spent to buy the upload to the player. |

The problem here is that I didn't receive a reason. I didn't even get a response when I feedbacked about it, which makes me imagine some pimply-faced teenager sitting in their parent's basement going "Hahaha noob - take that! I don't have to answer to you!" The other time they gave me half gralats. I have worn the body on and off for almost a year - why now that it got deleted? Makes little sense that, to me anyway. As to how much effort is spent in uploading - its the same for removing, no? And when it comes to taking pains to foster understanding as to why 12 year olds can't have dora the explora heads (or whatever copyrighted character it might be), I doubt I would be the first to volunteer to assist players in getting their graphics accepted and explaining the changes that needed to be made in detail in order to make them fit the (rather vague) guidelines. In this example (the body I had made myself, taken more than 5 revisions to upload, and subsequently had to upload it a second time out of pocket) FIVE MINUTES OF EXPLANATION from a qualified administrator and I would be able to make changes in order to fix the file in such a way that the 10+ hours that I spent could not be wasted. As far as the guidelines are concerned - if bodies that follow the submission criteria are being deleted or rejected, then the criteria needs revision. |

I don't do a lot of uploading so I don't have any personal gripes, but I am pretty upset about how many awesome shields get removed for seemingly no season. Some I understand, but some just seem so random. And I'm not just referring to shields that were just recently uploaded. Shields that were uploaded and accepted years ago have been removed. Not just the big over-the-top ones (which even then I find confusing because there are a number of shields that would fit in the "too big" category that haven't been removed), but shields that seem to break no rules, being removed. I don't understand it. One random example of one of my favourite shields that was around for a long time (I only remember the end part): "-whatssofunnylol.gif" And just recently, the latest batch of shields that was released to the public via Taylor Richards, "patricksshield.gif" (the car shield), already gone, as well as another really cool one that included a sniper rifle. And remember the awesome mech suit shield from a while back? And don't even get me started on all of Drek's shields. These shields made us happy. They were well-made and people were having fun with them. Yet they get removed based on some arbitrary rules that seem to always be changing. |

One shield I was confused by when it disappeared was 'pi-moneh-eyes-shield.gif' It was just dollar signs in front of your eyes... pretty normal seeming concept. Then the real clincher was when I saw the same graphic uploaded under a different name... I forget the exact filename, but it was someone's name... |

Also when you make a shield, body or head and it gets uploaded and you then purchase a gralat pack specifically for that upload and it gets deleted 3 months later only to receive gralats back instead of your real money is wrong. Surprised Stefan hasn't been sued for this..
