Believe it or not little unique features like a cosmetic laser can push players towards buying that gun.

Red laser site on the old AP0 combined with the fire sound (that made it sound like a ****ing beast) and reload animation is what made it totally badass. Loved that gun until they changed it completely. Now it's ugly and sounds so weak.

I suppose the fact that it could wound was also an added benefit... but I preferred it for its looks mostly.

well it looks cool, but i guess they couold make a way to turn it off.  

I actually made a real laser in the past which helps you find where the projectile will be shot (and its range), but it did not get implemented =[  

I like Johns idea :3  

His idea seems too extreme.
I'm imagining it, and it feels rather horrible to see where the bullet is flying to.
