I dont complain, I try to post useful opinions/comments that strengthen the side of the argument in which I agree with. If you would have read my whole post you would have seen my suggestion which isn't rocket science.

NOT self-explanatory. This is what creates all the issues because it gives up-loaders a reason to decline stuff based on their personal feelings. They should make these (circumstances) clearer or disallowed them completely.

The only thing I can see would fix this situation would be allowing uploaders to insert a custom reason.

Which is bad for a few reasons.

1. In cases of upload spam it would be incredibly tedious to get through.
2. Even if it was just a regular amount of uploads (usually Era has 40 - 50 at any given time so I cant imagine how bad itd be for classic) it'd be like writing an essay to get through all those uploads.
3. If you think the staff are bad, you probably don't want to see how literate they may not be...

1. designate on up-loader to deal with rejections. once the up-load gets the initial rejection the player would get a decline pm with explanation to come at a later time. Once declined, it would be send to the rejection specialist to give a short explanation why it was declined.(it would only be applied to the bodies that dont meat certain circumstances)

2. read #1 and it doesnt take much. Example: Doll bodies are not acceptable. Violates (insert reason here)

3. it would be wise to know whos capable of doing their job, so they can be replaced if they suck

I'm sorry, why don't we hire you to deal with the crap players come up with, then type a bunch of essays on why uploads can't be allowed, only to have most of those resubmitted/have some asshat who still doesnt understand why their rainbow head was denied come crying to you then get pissed when you dont respond to their garbage. Or maybe since you are so capable of understanding what makes a good staff member, you should be in charge of going around a community of 12 year olds who don't have the slightest idea what the term "responsibility" means and picking out people who are good for the job. Because you really make it seem easy, and I'm assuming to top it off you don't have any better things to do besides "work" on Graal, no school work, no job, no family or friends, no hobbies? Because that'd be real great as I'm sure if you had any of those things it would be very difficult for you to devote all your time to Graal.

so whats the point of getting hired to work on a server if you dont have a reasonable amount of time to dedicate to the server? If simple stuff like this gets people frustrated why are they working on servers? isnt the whole point of the hiring application to see who has what it takes to handle situations like these? and lastly, dont you think it's a little selfish(from those busy social butterflies) to take up a spot that could go to somebody that has time to contribute to a server?

The drop down menu is just fine, the fact 90% of the playerbase doesn't have a functioning brain that is capable of comprehending what it "reads" is the problem.

The problems is noobs insulting people for no reason. Do you comprehend what you read? Did you read OP? 1. body gets rejected the first time 2. then it gets uploaded 3. gets refunded

How are players supposed to be on the same page when it comes to uploads if the staff cant even do it themselves. First guy rejected it for whatever reason (circumstances), second guy uploaded(so i guess it didnt violate any of the other uploading rules), and lastly someone decided it didnt meet certain circumstances.

Since you want suggestions:
add these circumstances to the uploading rules and anytime a new rejection reason comes up, added to the rules

if the staff team actually is so disabled that they can't do uploads (which no one seems to have provided me any evidence of?) then they should be fired or smacked on the head by their Administrator. But I'm definitely not supporting the hoard of idiots that spam uploads, cry to staff because their heads aren't being approved that they "worked so harddd on" (It really only takes like an hour to make a half-decent head anyway)., or those who feel so compelled to whine on the forums about how their crap isn't being approved but don't even feel like showing what exactly it was that wasn't approved, or what the reason was.

Look at the first post on this thread (the first pic), it does not violate anything. How are people supposed to know 'doll bodies' aint authorized if it doesnt say it in the rules. Is it even a rule that a doll body cant be used? If it is, why dont all up-loaders know about it.

The purpose of this forum is to discuss graal related issues and to hopefully improve the game as a whole. This "12 year old idiots crap" shouldnt fly. Thats a pretty stupid mentality to have if you ask me, but what do I know I'm just a 'stupid troll'.

Sounds like a pretty awful job, if someones going to be doing that they might as well be a full time GP. Either way, like Dusty said, there can be at times 100+ pending uploads. Good luck finding someone who will deal with that.

The one body that was posted in this thread was explained by multiple people why it can't be approved, not only that but it shouldn't have been approved even if there wasn't the doll body rule, since it is too small and was jpeg'd.

Well for one I don't think you're trolling, I just think you haven't been helping the situation much till now. The reason I'm bringing up age and intelligence is because its obviously a problem, since most people still aren't able to understand rules that have been explained many times.

add the upload exceptions to the rules:
1. no small bodies
2. no animal bodies
3. no doll bodies
4. no perverted bodies
5. etc etc

now the rejection could read "dont resubmit #3"

the upload page is official graal so good luck getting it changed

It cant be any worse than doing uploads.

I didnt say all rejections needed an extra explanation. Transparency issues and bodies being out of frame should be self explanatory. If it's obvious that the player uploading is "clueless" then thats where the privilege rule comes in handy. I only said they should do it for the certain circumstances

The main problem is people not being familiar with pc graal/rc. There are many players in classic that are 16-19 and would be able to handle situations with players, but they are not familiar with pc/rc. If classic would make the application accessible to the majority of the community im sure they would find many good candidates, all they would have to do is train them with the tools staff members use.

No they didnt, a couple mentioned why it could have been refunded, but they dont know for sure. The first body which im talking about is a png and the edit version is a jpeg, but im not talking about the second body(the edited one).

I beg to differ, ive made reasonable suggestions and comments in regards to the topic. You might not think i did because youre way of thinking is "a bunch of dumb ass 12 year olds with no brain cells"

so lets help these "unintelligent kids" understand how things work. Stuff doesnt get explain, all people in a position of power say is "they should just accept the decline and stfu"

Note: If we had a official iGraal forum, up-loaders could send players to said forums for further guidance.

Classic can get a backlog of over 100 uploads(that's just game graphics, not guild logos) in just a few hours. No one has enough time to go through and write an explanation for every single upload, especially at the rate players demand their uploads be reviewed.

There are plenty of pre-selected replies staff can do with little issues (transparency problems, floating pixels, flashing colors, most of the other ones too).

The problem is when you get a reply and it doesn't make any logical sense "do not resubmit this image" has never helped anyone figure our the problem ever.

When the explantation for the denied upload needs to be described to the player- it should be. It does not take long to type a sentence or two on a computer, and only a small percentage of uploads are actually controversial enough to need a description.

Say, if a head is deemed a violation of copyright rules from a staff member and is denied, they should state where the copyright is actually from (yes, by typing a word or two out- oh no the horror of being staff). Sometimes things are so vague that players create and some random staff member seems to get the idea it is ripped from another media source and they delete it when in fact it does not break any rules and only resembles something slightly.

The argument is not what "dont resubmit" means or is used for, the argument is that maybe it's time to change that, so players can fix their uploads and resubmit an acceptable one.

As for why it was actually rejected I'd say.

Too Small
Doll body (if what santa said was true)
The second image looks like it may be a jpeg so, wrong file format
Possibly transparency issues if you didn't check the transparency box.

I think the problem here is that im talking about the first body and the actions that were taken with that upload and youre talking about the second body and the actions taken with that upload.

I dont think its that small compared to other girl bodies and that could be said for the guy that up-loaded it. I think it's fair to say that everyone has to be on the same page when it comes to uploads, players and staff.

Shut up nerd. The system will not be changed. The demand of people uploading and crying staff take way to long is too damn high. So if the body has more than one error they will list it as dont upload this body again.

Dolly bodies aren't allowed on the server of Classic. Could be many reasons. It confuses you on where their hit box is at, they dont have moving arms, they have copyrights on it, xor could just dislike them, even the dollies heads are removed since they are tiny.
