Might i ask, what happened to the honor system? ;-; (Old people will know this)

Because people were scamming noobs at Balamb island for honor points so they could get hats.

I think the system should be brought back with a small change. You must have at least 100 hours or something to honor a person.  

Yes. I am ashamed that I have a hotdog hat in my hat inventory... I pity those noobs.

Anyways, as CM CM suggested, the honoring system would be nice if it came back - but then it might start a new trend where people go afk in places such as Graal city and say 'Honor me pls'

I don't know why they stopped it for sure, but i would say it was because people were honoring themselves. Back in the day if you deleted your app it would save your information for when you re-installed it, but the identification system changed that to where it would be a new account everytime you re-installed graal. So all you had to do was get on facebook and keep re-installing graal to honor yourself. That or you could create many fb accounts to honor yourself.


Whenever something gets added, people try to find the easiest way to do it(including me) so staff have to find the easiest way to solve the problem. That's why you need to be identified to get the slime spoils, so you dont abuse multiple accounts like i did.

Wasn't the honor system removed before VIP? I thought it was removed because it was intended for people to honor someone that helped them, but people abused it by scamming ignorant noobs at Balamb for their honor points instead (like what happened to me ).  

maybe like guild pictures your "reason" needs to be approved, you get 2 points to give a month and can only give it to the same person every other month ? and yeah, the 100 hours  

A currency that could only be obtained through being honoured by other players, honouring you can only do once per account, it was terrible lol

I don't understand what the problem with it was. I understand lying about it should be punishable, but there was also a warning prior to honoring someone saying you will receive nothing out of it. If they're that stupid they shouldn't deserve to keep the honor point.

I agree, although EC is cool on other servers. That is the only other currency that would make sense
