I think player made graphics should be used more widely. If anything, it would save the artists a job, and they would become more graphics moderators. Coco does an amazing job but maybe sometimes it is best just to allow some of the cool and original ideas to be used that have been created by players, not just in the holidays.

One plus of this, is that players know what players want. (PKers want masks and stuff etc)

Already exists, sorry. If you remake it people will call you unoriginal and if you resell it people will call you lazy.  

"Exclusive" hats should be ones earned through a task. I wouldn't consider anything that someone buys to be "exclusive" anyway. Isn't there another thread demanding certain items back in shops? And now this one saying it's bad. It's best to stop complaining about it, it's not fixing anything. Complain about actual problems.

Items are being resold for another holiday season. (The present and elf morphs) and I don't understand why.

It's not like there is a:

shortage of player submissions

1) What makes you think there is a lot of player submissions?
2) What makes you think even if there were a lot of submissions, there is a lot of usable content?
3) Those submissions are for Christmas presents, not Onnet.

or a shortage of Graphic Artists

I would make this thread look neat but I'm lazy.

The graphics team are all volunteers. That may seem a lot, but realize that most of those are either in school or have jobs and other obligations. Also realize since they are volunteer there is only so much you can do to encourage them to actually work and adhere to deadlines. I'm not saying the graphics team are bad workers, I'm saying they have other things to deal with. While 12 staff members may seem like a lot, between all of these factors it can be hard to get a lot of content made. Let's not forget that not all graphics made are actually used, some don't make the cut.

1)The traffic on the thread. Even if it's only a lot of back and forth it is still a significant number of replies.
2)This answers both your second and third question, in the past two years there has been a significant amount of approved items submitted by other players.
3)Throughout the year many players have requested player-submitted graphics be used in other holidays. (Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc.)

Notice I never addressed the graphics team as "lazy." Believe me, I understand what it is to be busy. (I'm both a full time student and I have a full time job) The brief time I had worked on Delteria I stayed up until 2:00 AM to put hours in. And I know that around Christmas time many highschool and college students have midterms/finals to study for, myself included. And on that note I'm going back to studying.

Seriously can you stop? There's no need for them to be informed on what is going to be sold or resold in a shop, why should they? Their job is to make graphics.

I don't think he was using "low staff" as an insult, just using it to differentiate workers from management.

No it doesn't. Quantity != Quality. There really weren't all that many useable submissions. It's a really low ration of submissions:accepted.

Sorting through all the submissions is a job in itself. It's just not a huge viable thing to do this for every single content release just for a handful of actual useable content.

Why not Onnet?

Because it's for the Christmas presents, not Onnet. It's as simple as that. Christmas needs a lot of content so players get a diverse variety of items from presents, and more important that the presents be diverse than adding a few more items to an already pretty stocked shop release.

I never implied you did? All I'm saying is that despite there being 12 graphics members it doesn't necessarily correlate to the workload people would assume 12 working staff would do because of the reasons I listed.  

Only Issue I have is the fact that old VIP items are being sold I can careless for the Holiday Present Morph but the Elf was giving to the Players of December from last year. No reason to resell it. Just proves Vip isn't really about a item only giving out onces with a month time of getting it.

Vip is now really only about the Colors and the Island  

I think of you want to resell an item, edit or recolor it in such way the old one is clearly different from the new one.
