Just some idea I thought up. Why not allow players to swap their bow and sword for a crossbow? It could shoot bolts that fly faster than arrows, but there would be a firerate cap that would prevent it from being spammed like one is able to with the bow. Maybe as a bonus effect due to you using a small supply of ammo frequently, you get to carry 50 more arrows and get double arrows from all sources.

& make it so crossbow bolts can only hit one target instead of impacting as many people.

There should be a bow code, kinda like a shild code, but it customizes your bow  

No pls. The range attacks on classic is already overpowered as heck. If they replace it with a weaker on in the other hand, that'd be great

I think the reasoning that has kept bows from being nerfed is that they take ammo, that which can only be carried in limited quantities and easily is lost. But the problem is, you can get more just as easily, so honestly staff shouldn't be using the ammo thing as an excuse.
