What I really hate about anime...
In my experience this mostly applies to shows that are already completed. But what I really hate about anime is when its really good (in your own opinion) and you get fully immersed with the world and its characters and then it comes to an end when you really don't want it to. I would say this can happen to any show or movie someone watches but to me I usually get this feeling when watching anime :O. Just finished Eureka Seven after months of putting it off and I enjoyed it a lot. I would say I fall into this state where I can't get over the show until I watch something that is either on the same level or as good as what I watched previously. For anyone out there one anime that really did this to me was Clannad and Clannad AS (if you haven't seen it I highly recommend it). I would say for about a good week I couldn't get over the story. imo this probably happens to everyone when they watch something they like and then all of a sudden it comes to an end :O |

Yeah this hits me as well as pretty much everyone, the 'post anime depression' from where you have immersed yourself and suddenly you won't be seeing these characters anymore that you have grown attached to and love. Normally what i'll do is fill the hole with something new or just spam the OST lol

Yeah post anime depression is a *****. I remember finishing Baccano and just being sad and pissed off for the entire week. What's almost as worst is pre anime anxiety where the hype of a new show/season is just eating away at your mind (Assassination Classroom).

This happens to me a lot. I'll keep wondering to myself, "What are they doing now?" Sometimes it can leave me depressed with the ending and other times it can leave me feeling happy for the characters. The worst part about anime for me is when I watch one with a "read the manga" ending.

I'm quite thankful? it doesn't really affect me anymore, once an anime is over I'm more happy that I watched it and can tick it off the list rather than depressed it's over.
