If you read what they're saying, most of them are just relaxing or asking to role play. If that's how they want to play graal, than why not? Essentially there was a reason they removed the ability to pk everywhere, it was far too hectic with this number of people. If these people wanted to pk they wouldn't be standing in Graal city.

There's a large amount of people who treat this game as a social MMO. To those people, socializing is a gameplay feature. There's a large amount of people who pk on a daily basis and treat it as a gameplay feature, and nothing is stopping either from doing so. Opening more pk zones is a great idea, and my comments were obviously directed towards the people who wanted everywere to be an open pk zone. All i'm saying is that the areas that are mostly occupied by people who are socializing or being afk should remain the same.

Reading this thread is funny to me for two reasons. Half the people that advocate new pk zones, I remember saying they liked classic more than era cuz you can socialize and era is more pk. Another point I find a bit funny is the fact that this is only just now being realized. I agree with rufus that more PK zones would add to the "game" feature, and would increase the use of buildings that are always empty. But also there has to be some balance. People play classic for different reasons. Some take towers. Some spar. And when they get bored of all that, they use graal as a social game. It kinda turns into a Facebook with your own little character. :p I guess what I'm saying is I agree, but take into account that there will be many people who oppose this idea.

Limiting the safe zones to indoors would annoy a large amount of people, including me. It isn't just "role players" who like to hangout in safe zones every now and then. There's not much else i can say without sounding like a broken record. There's a reason the whole map isn't a pk zone still. |

All I see on a daily basis on Classic are people that play Graal because it's a game, and don't treat it like a Facebook. These same people however are socializing, they're in the spars, they're at towers, they're in guilds, and they're making friends whilst playing the game. They are not standing in Graal City asking people to rate their guild pictures. What do you think the general consensus on Classic would be if asked? Would people rather have new weapons, such as the boomerang and trident, and be able to actually use them on people, or would they prefer to sit and try to talk in Graal City? I'd like to think it's the first. |
