Spar & Tower mount combat seems like a fair enough suggestion, definitely brings a new element to the game. As for hats and matching mounts, seems lame and a waste of development time but considering they have nothing better to do than draw hats, why not..  

You used to be able to enter towers with horses. There were glitches that happened where you could hop through walls (particularly swamp and deadwood).

If mounts in spar was implemented, it would ruin its purpose because the main purpose of spar is to kill players with no bombs or arrows, just your sword (imo). Spar is basically PKing except with your sword. If it were to be implemented though, a new spar system would have to be introduced (which I doubt would happen since it would take years to make.) Sparring with a mount wouldn't even be that useful, because you're moving on it pretty slow enough to lose to an experienced sparrer, who could just spar them the way they would spar an average sword spammer. Fighting someone who is not yet experienced, if you're sparring on your mount, would make it 100x harder for them.

Also, spamming your sword on a mount in towers is pretty darn boring

You can make a new spar room so Fokn easy. there is even a perfect space for a new spar room in the spar building, oh wow and this room let's you ride, Mount in it what a fokd double rainbow. Derpderpderpderp

Okay now I understand what you mean, new system for mount sparring and towering, right? It seems too easy for players, especially for pros.

Anyways, what do you do if you're nub and keep losing? Keep practicing, right? That's what's supposed to make towering and sparring fun. I was at 100-300 two years ago, and now I'm +500 in spar. I had to teach myself how to spar, and it was kinda hard and time consuming to do. It did become more fun for me because I got to learn from my mistakes. The point is, if mount towering and sparring were implemented, it would make Graal more easy and boring, because all I can think of when I see that is people sword spamming on mounts. One thing that keeps players in Graal are challenging activities, such as quests. If this was a system mainly for new players, then yeah, I guess it would be a pretty good idea. But there are more pros than nubs, and the areas that the nubs go to (like Archery and formerly CTF) are barely occupied and almost empty. It might be good for EUROCENTER too, since they're getting more money from people buying mounts. But, as a sparrer, I'm not really a fan of this idea. Sorry if this sounds kinda mean, but I'm just stating my opinion, so please don't take this the wrong way >~<

I'm teaching myself sparring, it can be frustrating and so ssososo rewarding. I almost killed some alumniburger got him to .5 lagLESS the other day and I was like.....yay I've com a long way-_-

So a potential problem with mount tower is blocking
Maybe the tower could have multiple flags in the same room or in different rooms.
I'm sure the is a way for it to work
I mean the Mongols aren't around anymore and they were experts at mounts and spam.

and a lot of people also complained about people using horses to attack flags. Horses have awkward knock-back after getting hit, so it was possible to position yourself next to the flag and could never be knocked away.
