Star Wars Episode Seven: Fett Returns?
It has already been confirmed that Boba Fett is returning. (or most likely since it happens in the comics and he is having his own movie). However I think we may see him even sooner. I was watching the trailer for the new episode in slow-mo and noticed something strange. ![]() The walk, the gun, the cape. It seems to be the striking image of Boba, just in the new Empire trooper gear. My theory is that he lost his old armor as it was partially destroyed in the sarlacc pit. I also beleive he must have struck a deal with the new Empire over something because It does not seem like Boba to work under someone. What do you guys think??? (Here is the link to the new trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngElkyQ6Rhs) |

There's this scene where the same person as in the pic is chasing what I assume are the good guys. Could very well be.

I re-watched the trailers a couple of times just for that part to look at it. I hope it's him and that there might also be more mandalorians this time. I'm conflicted about disney's ownership but I'm excited.

It'd be an insult if they put him in Storm Trooper armor. He's a Bounty Hunter and actually knows how to aim his gun.

But if that's boba, where is his jetpack? I doubt it's boba since he isn't in the cast list, but it may be someone similar since the two main villans are those nightsisters? I think, like that ventrus sith from the original clone wars cartoons, and mandalorians who are basically the same as boba fett/jangofett, same armour etc. Storm troopers look kinda weird now, the helmets are ok but the chest armour looks like cardboard or plastic instead of the shiny fibre glass the original stormtroopers had. The whole look of them reminds me of the peacekeepers from hunger games |

Yea, I believe you misunderstood what I was trying to convey. I was referring to the fact he would no longer be a commissioned killer but rather a 'slave' to the empire. To me it seems strange that if this scenario was true he would fully dedicate himself to one cause. (since bounty hunters are contract killers and work for anybody paying the right amount) It makes sense to have him working with the Empire but not for the empire. |
