Just take it at face value for what it is; so what if we're just organic assemblies of matter with what we call a "conscience"? Does it actually matter? Not really. Thinking about and accepting that I will one day lose consciousness for the rest of eternity was pretty ****. Like, instead of coming to that realization in middle school why couldn't it just have ****ed off until I was 50 or something?

It comes naturally to mind.
I could shove it off by not thinking at all, but that's very hard to do - especially when I need to think about things.
