The "idea" might be good, but the way it's presented is not. Artist charging commission for their work is nothing new. I see nothing wrong with artists selling their original work. My problem with this "great idea" is: 1. The market will keep 40% and 25% of the selling price 2. Buyers will pay the market and the market will pay the artist when and how they want(if they don't accuse the artist of producing edited/stolen graphics) 3. If a head is paid for and it's declined on the server will the buyer get his money back( the market can say yes it will, but the market ain't going to refund the buyer because there's no way for them to verify that the head was declined/removed after it was uploaded) 4. There might be a lot of these little ******s that pay X amount of dollars to pay for their "custom" head only to see other players wearing them within a day. It's not hard for graphic artists to be known around the community(especially if they do good work), so if they really want to sell their art they can do it on their own without contributing to some douchebags money scheme. People are free to do whatever they want I'm just stating my views, so artists/buyers that read this can make a more educated decision when the time comes. This is what I feel about it at the moment. I will see how they work once they release it and curious to see if they add a "terms of agreement" that removes all liabilities from the market (I'm curious because we all know 12 year olds read those). |

The site will be built behind a robust framework that is already proven to be a solid digital marketplace. At the moment I think players have a hard time finding these GFX website and to find available artists. What we are trying to do is create a robust platform for which players and artist can easily find each other.
We understand that the majority of players are under the age of 18 years. This mean they cannot accept any TOS and be held liable for their actions . For this reason we ask all payers that are under 18 to have parental/guardian permission and have them understand what they are doing. |

Is this limited to just heads/bodies/hats, or for other things like tilesets, furniture, etc for servers?

I think it'd be cool to have profiles of known artists in the community who can sign up for for people to view their page. On their page they can post files in which they are selling. People then can decide they want one then go through the process of getting it. Example: I go on GraalMarket.com I want a head! So I go to a tab that lists the site's trusted artists'. I then select an artist who's work I've seen and enjoyed. Oh looky here! They're selling a head I like, I need this! Or Darn it they don't have a head I like, but I love their work, let me fill out a request form! I then either go through the payment information or wait for the artist to view my request form and see if they accept it. --- Honestly I love this idea, it sounds like a great opportunity for Artists to get their art out there and for some cash! Somewhat of a central hub or go to destination when in the search of Graal Related Artwork (maybe even character drawings and portraits too -drawn-) |

You can easily find GFX websites by just typing "Graal GFX" in your search terms. There's a lot of players who make blogs that display free heads for people to use and from the websites I've looked into, they take requests for customs FREE. So it'll make you wonder, do I prefer to use the resources available that are free or waste actual money? From a buyer's standpoint, I find this idea highly unreliable given the fact there are tons of places you can find such and such things without wasting a single (whatever currency is your country).

"sell your graphics!" mfw ![]() It'd be smarter to just commission an artist whom you admire than go through a system like this; plus the graphic could still easily be used by others. no point to this at all unless you just wanna waste money. |

Honestly, i don't like this, the concept is cool and all but really? pay real money for graphics when some people do it for a small amounts of gralats or even for free. and the head/body is probably gonna get uploaded to graal depot..
