Example of a Great Guild
As of recently, I have been watching this guild and thought of how great an example they set for everyone else. They do things right. I just wanted to get the word out to all the rest of you. The guild's name is White Tulip. This group of people does what every guild should do in pertinence to guild spar. When the scores were recently reset, a lot of guilds tried to rush to the top. White Tulip was one of these guilds. The difference is that after they got 7k points, they didn't cower down from anyone. They sparred just to spar, it didn't matter their numbers or odds or whoever else was in the room. They went down in points, but to me, they're a far more respected guild than a lot of those other snakes on the leaderboard. I think all guilds should learn a lesson from White Tulip. Stop being concerned with score. Spar with your guild regardless of the environment. |

#WhiteTulip4GuildOfTheYear if only I knew this was all it took to be a great guild ![]() I wouldn't call them a "great" guild, but I would say it's a good way to lead by example in order to make non-GST gs relevant/fun(without all the tryhardness). |

435-191 on Streak spar room (sparred during EST afternoon to evening, no selective spar) 40-4 on Quick spar room (Didn't spar selectively, rushed against most opponents, 40-50% opponents were well over 2:1 ratio with 1k+ wins). Last January on Male -> 642-142, 80% quick, 20% streak. Had a good streak time cause all the good sparrers were towering. Redesign the spar match system like WoW, saying this again. You can't fake your score with randomly matched opponent. I want to see where all these random people pop up with such a huge ratio.

Well it's not like White Tulip is some big name guild like Mother/Alumni/SLX/WAR etc. People are going to leave, and people are going to help. I do although see people who are always on that tag, so they definitely have loyalty in the guild. They aren't exactly as established yet, but that wasn't the point. The point was that they don't run or cower from any kind of gs like 95% of guilds do. And the reason why I picked them is because they have shown that it's possible to get a high gs score by doing this. Even though they aren't very well known sparrers, you can't say it's selective spar because they fight anyone and everyone in any room. Most guilds will see 2-3 good sparrers show up in gs and bail. I remember a specific time where Dante and I were helping the guild, then we announced we were leaving to help get points for Alumni. Instead of stopping their gs or leaving the room, they tagged 2 far less experienced sparrers and continued, going vs Alumni and everyone else in there. The point is, they do things how things should be done concerning guild spar. A lot of people can learn something from Queen Ariana and her guild. |
