I think the problem is you're ignoring the major bugs, im sure if you pay attention you'll see all sorts of bugs flying around Graal City waiting to be caught I think there's a guide as well for it on the forums you may wanna read |

Even if it doesn't seem like things get addressed, it's still worth documenting. Fixing bugs can be a time-consuming thing, and creating content also takes time. It's hard to balance putting time into new content and fixing the current content. Again, things can't be fixed if it's not known... even if things aren't fixed immediately, threads like the bug reports thread serve as useful references for staff. |

I didnt know about the blob change, but as it was described, I highly support the change. The blob boss really doesnt need to be a 5minute ordeal of bomb and arrow spam in a crowd of 100+ people, where more people are there just for the zero-effort pks than people who are actually interested in the blob. I agree, itd be nice if the house vases were fixed. Honestly, I dont see why the vases need a gralat-style spawn rate. The "over 40AP" rule is already effective for deciding who is allowed to heal. Maybe the new vase rate could be increased to 33-50%? |

Why don't you stop complaining and just do something you enjoy in the game. Otherwise, don't play and come back when the bugs have been fixed plz

Another issue here is that the vase object spawns a vase whenever someone enters the level. If you have 3-4 people enter your house, it drops 3-4 vases on top of one another, making an object that has to be picked up 3-4 times in order to be 'cleared.' This doesn't seem to apply more than 4 times (even if you had, say, six people enter the house). Also, dusty is apparently still around, lurking, waiting to implement fishing someday (hopefully) ;) |

I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. I thought for sure everyone (who plays Graal for reasons other than just sparring or PKing) would have noticed this. People are telling me crazy things like the vases are working as intended, and that they haven't noticed anything ridiculously wrong with the current bug spawn rate? Am I the only one who played last spring and remembers exactly how different it was? Ladybugs sell for what? 20 gralats? They're supposed to be a COMMON bug. They spawned EVERYWHERE last spring. Now, they've become as rare as black ladybugs, ironically. Same with the common species of butterflies. When I play Graal I spend a lot of time all over different sections of the map. I know what I'm talking about. Bug catching used to be a viable method to make money. Currently, it is not. Seeing any bug (not including bees, thankfully they're still working properly) is a rare site. Same with the vase thing. I know what I'm talking about. And I explained that some of the vases (for example: the vases in the gnome cave in north swamptown) are still functioning the old way, whereas some (for example: the vases in the nightclub, if I'm not mistaken) are functioning the new, glitchy way. You can go on Graal and see for yourself. And the furniture vases are even more broken, as I pointed out. At least 4-Lom knows what I'm talking about. And regarding the blob, the AFK-warping isn't the issue for me. I don't even have a problem with it. It's the amount of time the blob dies in. The blob has always worked fine in the past with no lag problems. I'm sorry but this last-minute band-aid fix doesn't cut it at all. There was a kik group dedicated to alerting people when the blob spawned. It's dead now, and has been since this change. Because you can't alert anyone anymore. It dies too fast. Graal Classic is important to me. It's one of the most enjoyable, addictive, endlessly fun games I've ever played. It's because I love it so much that I make threads like these. Seeing these lazy fixes and botched gameplay elements just really gets to me. I've invested a lot of time and money into this game since I started playing it back in 2010, and I expect a certain level of quality control. Dusty, I give you the credit because I constantly saw you always not only interacting with the community and fixing/changing things based on player feedback, but constantly refining the little things, the things that lots of people don't notice, but I do. And I, as a player, was very appreciative of your efforts. I don't think it's a coincidence that all these issues started to arise shortly after you stepped down (I know you still frequent the forums and help out here and there, but it's not the same). The bug-reporting thread is a ghost town. It would be nice to have someone actively posting in the future development forum the way you did. So much good came out of it. One more thing, to the people who responded without reading the thread: If you're not going to read it, don't bother posting. It really doesn't anything productive to this thread, and just shows that you don't have the attention span to read a few paragraphs of text. My posts are long, but if you actually read them, you may find that I'm not just some whiny little runt, but someone who actually knows what the hell he's talking about. |
