Fellow Graalians,
It's with great sadness that I come to this conclusion that we people that are using the classic sub forums are being treated unfairly and unjustly. They are trying to mute our voices from being heard, to them our opinion is nothing, as long as their is order and organization. They (the moderators) believe that a legacy can thrive order and organization. They believe that by muting us they are "like an ostrich sticking their head in the sand, believing that nothing problematic is there."
This really came to my attention today when Colin said this: "He is not banned, he is limited to the amount of posts he can make per day.
This is because he is constantly making threads/posts with topics not even related to Classic that cause spam and fill up the forum which isn't necessary.
He is not the only one displaying this, a handful of you seem to think there's some sort of war going on and are constantly spamming about it and taking everything personally - there isn't, we just want to clean up the Classic sub-forum. This goes with personal issues with other members as well, stop fighting each other in every thread private messages exist for a reason.
We want posts to actually be on topic and Classic related not somewhere you post a poem about yourself trying to glorify your self image.
The off-topic sub-forum exists for a reason, if you want to create poems about each other feel free to do it there."
This is suffocating our fellow graalians, limiting our freedom of speech and thinking that they have the right to do this to us. I speak not for myself but for those without voice, those who have fought for their rights, their right to be treated with dignity, their right to equality of opportunity, their right to be heard.
By limiting the amount that pacman posts, they are limiting opportunity of equality, and his right to be heard. As multiple members across the community (Including me) pacman has changed, he has positively encouraged people to believe in themselves and shown a positive attitude towards my fellow Graalians. Overall, he has made them happy and it's within his rights that he can make other people glad, happy and content with their life.
I'm not an activist and I'm not looking to pick a fight or start controversy. I'm not a political person, but I'm a person with compassion. I care passionately about equal rights for all members within the Graal network . Someone who rights a beautiful poem shall not, will not and can not be punished as this is clearly stated in the constitution:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
Pacman has done nothing to have these rights taken away from him, and I'm sure the community will vouch for this. They will not keep our community voiceless against these moderators.
It's with great sadness that we have come this far, and there must be change!
I have a dream, that one day every Graalian's voice will be, can be and shall be heard!
Regards,
Gitaz
