In my opinion, horse are going too slow, especially when going diagonally. Maybe let horses eat bushes to go faster? Or at least let them eat something? Or whip them to make them go faster?

Since this is Ol' West, I thinking whipping your horse to go faster is the best way to do this.  

I think both of your ideas, being whipping them and eating bushes, to go faster are a great idea! They're both logical and can both work, being an upgrade from other servers since we would offer two ways to do it.

Great ideas! Maybe we can have more feedback from other players so we can get some more concrete information on horse improvements as a whole?  

Or you could have them drink from a trough for a speed boost.

I think that the faster the horses go the more unstable they are/harder to control.

Have a stamina bar and the lower it is = the slower your horse.
The more bushes (or whatever food it may be) = the more stamina.  

Id rather not have to whip virtual horses. Can we whip each other instead ;)

Since when are you allowed to have good ideas?  

Horses are extremely slow diagonally!  

Your right in saying Horses are slow, I think this is the reason why most people don't even use them, even know they have them! In my opinion its much easier to run with VIP than ride on a Horse. :p  

Tbh horses are pretty much fine if you fix the getting stuck everywhere thing and make them as fast as normal diagonally aswell
