GameBattles.com (MLG)
Hey guys, Figured out a way for us to pull this off so we can enjoy all the great features GameBattleshas to offer, including a challenge system, match finder, a ladder, forum, stream, match resolution and more. For anyone who has never heard of MLG, its the Major League Gaming circuit and it's used to host tournaments and run regular season ladders among the most popular games. The plan for us Graalians is to join under a dead ladder like 'Black OPs II' which has no activity. Pretty simple. The link for the the ladder is provided below. The link is http://gamebattles.majorleaguegaming...-black-ops-ii/ Sign up, Pick a Ladder, create your team, and lets start challenging. ALL DEVICES ARE WELCOME TO SIGN UP! Ladder Rules and Info: Refs/Hosts: Demrow, CrimeWatcher, Zetectic Contact Demrow or CrimeWatcher in-game by messaging them for any questions about the tournament. All referees and tournament hosts can be found easily in the guild (Tournament Host) Team Size: Just like the actual GST, each team will have 5 core players, and an optional 2 substitute players. Official Graal Spar Rules: This tournament is for players of all devices; iDevice, PC, Android, etc. 5v5:First guild to reach 5 wins is victorious. 2v2:First guild to reach 10 wins is victorious (Right now for Premium members only) 1v1:First competitor to reach 5 or 10 wins (which ever is agreed upon) is victorious. Starting The Match: Before starting the match between two guilds, a trial/practice match will occur beforehand to determine whether it is too laggy to spar or not. Each team must come to an agreement to decide if they want to start the official matches. If not, the match will be postponed to a later date. Report Match: 1)Go to your Team 2)Under 'Upcoming and Recent Matches' click 'View Details' 3)On the Right hand side of the screen find 'Report Match' 4) Enter in results Side Note: For 1v1 Matches the series is up to 5 but the ladder is set up as best of 5 so there is a restriction on how many games you can enter. For the winner just enter 3 and the loser just enter 2. Requirements: You and the opposing guild leader are responsible for posting the results of the match. If a ref is needed to oversee the match. Contact a referee or (Tournament Host) Match Rules: If a player is warped out due to a notification (text message, low battery percentage, etc.) in the beginning of a match, it will be restarted. Players warped out in the middle of a live match will not be declared as a restart as this can be abused to avoid a loss. If a player sparring is lagging tremendously and is completely frozen at the start of a match, a restart will be declared. If a player is frozen during a live match and the team he/she is on is at a disadvantage (1v3) the team with 3 players left will earn an automatic win. If the match is in progress with an even amount of players (5v5), the match will be restarted. How to Challenge https://youtu.be/gKAYKrjZkdg To create a team: 1)Follow the link (http://gamebattles.majorleaguegaming...-black-ops-ii/) 2)Click "Create a Team" on the right hand side of your screen 3)Select a Ladder (Team ladder) for 5v5 GST style matches 4)Fill out guild name, and put your graal gamertag in 5) Create Guild! There are ladders for 1v1, 2v2, and 5v5 also so whatever you prefer. Gamebattles is a tournament/seasonal ladder system used by competitive games such as CoD, Halo, LoL (Barely though their in game ladder is pretty strong), and many other games. I'd like to get a 5v5 ladder going but I think before we do that we test the waters with a 2v2 ladder and work our way up to 5v5. Basically what you would do is -create a team -add your partner (in the case of 2v2) -Send or find a challenge -Start your match at the time and day specified -Record results on gamebattles website Gamebattles website will record -win/losses -Point/xp that actually makes sense -reputation(so if you're a troll with a bad rep, people can avoid you) |
