So I've been playing Ol' West for a few days as I'm not enjoying classic (due to the lag) and I've got a few questions

• What does a lasso do?
• I have a horse, why does it move so slowly and why does it move even slower when I try and move diagonally?
• How can I make easy money?
• Where can I get better weapons than the ones sold in the normal shops eg Joe's melee. I have the best axe from there and I don't know what weapon I should get now.

Hope someone can help me  

A lasso gives you the anility to ride animals such as a bull
It lets you ride an animal with no horse
Device is prob laggy
Easy money is fishing
Buy one from event shop or gp shop.

Nothing else is laggy, the horse just doesn't seem much faster than my player. It's the speed of a horse that hasn't eaten a bush on classic. Is this laggy?

Horses are a little bit faster than players and can only move vertically+horizontally, but it allows you to move and shoot without freezing.

Getting Gralats takes some time, I would stick with one skill and level it up to about 60-75. In that range, you will start making more money.

The best melee you can get with Gralats is the Scythe. For guns, if you are sparring, get Dual Snubnoses. If you are pking/basing, get the .45 rifle. The .45 rifle and Scythe are both sold at Oasis Weapons Shop, while Dual Snubnoses are sold at the shop next to start. The scythe costs $12,000 Gralats, the .45 rifle costs $10,500 Gralats, and Dual Snubnoses costs $3,000 Gralats (buy two for a total of $6,000 Gralats).
If you start farming GP (Gang Points - each minute you get 1 point inside a base that you own), save up 20,000 for either of the two GP melees. Another good melee to buy with GP is the katana if you don't want to spend all that time to buy the better melees. If you get 45 HS, buy the HS melee. Those three melees are the best in game at the moment. If you get a HS melee, don't waste your time and get a GP melee, vice versa.

You forgot the sea chest weapons  

Oh, forgot about those, sorry! But they aren't that great for making money off of them at the moment since trading is closed. The kraken and trident are great weapons, but still are not as great as the HS melees and 20k GP melees.  

I am level 28 mining, should I continue that to get gralats?
And my friend Candydreams is going to have me help Maphasy so I'll be getting GP from there yay
