Oh, hello there....... your wondering why I typed 'Tired of this' on the title.

Its always a normal day in ol'west for me, I log in to see people at start afking and a guy recing on his new gang. I go to the trade tables to see a guy give 100 watermelon crops to a noob for his kraken, yup a normal day indeed.

I go to spars and get rekt like always, and go basing and being called a terrorist for using dynamites.

But... theres this one thing I just dislike.

No.... A thing I hate seeing.

I first wanna talk about is that people use melees to kill you. Its just isnt fun. If they use guns it would be more challenging.....more exciting....more blood.

Next is that take away the plant picking and fur selling also the gold sieving they are way too useless. I will talk about the bug catching later but seriously take those crappy jobs away. I see that one guy with 50 kill streaks bragging how pro he is getting those kill streaks. Last time I saw this guy he was pking noobs plant picking. This also affects how pking gets boring. Pking is suppose to be challenging and intense, its suppose to make you a little hype. Instead all you do is kill this guy with a melee and in less then a second he dies. Yup so much fun....

Next just slightly......slightly raise the damn spawn rate for the bugs. Im tired of people trading bug jars to me. I got over 11291 unused bug jars because of them. Im not joking I seriously have that much. And when I go bug catching it takes me 20 minutes and i get 15 bugs. When I could of just mine Rubies. By the way If your thinking way not mine rubies then. Bro its boring af. I sit there and press the attack button for 15 seconds and I get 1-3 rubies. Then i walk to the next rock and repeat. I tried watching a movie while mining and it was so much work that.... i just quit Mining never goin back mining. Anyways my point is.... just slightly increase the spawn rate for the bugs.

I bet none of the admins will listen to this . I bet 10k blue berry crops and a basic turkey wing that they will ignore this.


But wait... theres more sit down and read all this.


The horses, just increase the speed please. This is a true story

I see a noob he needed help around ol west. I helped him how to earn gralats and other certain things. He was mining up to 1000 gralats for a horse. He pms me "I cant wait to get a horse". I showed him where to get a horse. And when he bought it....bruh I have never seen such sloppy words in my life. He was so dissatisfied that he quited ol west. All well like I said just a normal day in ol west.


Bro i remember winning events over 13 times....I always asked for a event hat.... and I always get the response."Sorry, no hats". And all i get is a damn Horse shoe notification and get tped back to event house. I wish there was a way to trade in 5 hs for a event hat. But they cant now anyways. Event hats are unavailable because of a mistake that was going on for months.

You know....i wonder if crafting will have craftable weps....

I have much more to say but its best I keep my mouth shut.

Also theres gonna be that one guy thats gonna say something...

Edit: Pirate guy isnt my username in ol west. Im not saying who I am, Ill just get jailed but Ill give you a hint. Its like a game!!! Im in the top 25 in highest levels in firemaking.

What you said is partially the problem with Ol'West. The reason I, and, most people are dissatisfied with Ol'West is, the server doesn't feel alive, and, right now, there is nothing direct that staff can do about it. What I mean by that is, when you go onto era, you see hundreds of people at trade tables, intense fights going on for bases, arguments, afkers, streakers, everything, its alive. On Ol'West, there are two people at trade tables, no contest for bases, and, events are the only real thing they have, but, even those have slim turnouts in comparison to era. I am not trying to drag down Ol'West, its just, Era has been around for around four years, and, has four years worth of content, Ol'West has been around for half a year, with a half a year of content, and, less staff.


And, to the Ol'West staff, if you're reading this, please, remember to be different. I understand no one thing will generate you the population you want, but, to take a series of steps you need to take the first. You won't generate a playerbase if you're a reskinned Era, change the spar arena map to add cover, remove all of the bases except one or two, generate competition, make the health 1000, remove events and add them to the open world, have contests, remove trading and add an auction house for players to add items to. Please, do something I don't care what, but, right now, you need to act, this is around the time in your servers life where you need to act, before premature assumptions become opinions.

the sad truth.  

Ol'West is the water-down version of Era & Zone. Same mechanics, nothing unique about it except Cowboys and Native Americans. I find Zodiac more interesting and better designed than Ol'West.  

Bugging is way to ez, would be nice if they increase spawn rate and lower its prices...

This. Nerfing the spawn rate really made no sense. Yes, I understand that gralat packs are needed to keep the servers up..Yet, I really don't know considering all the money Stephane has from Era and Classic. But still, there are players like me that are willing to work hard for our gralats. Increase the spawn rate..If the prices are too high, lower them a bit just like Naid said.  

Agreed slightly with this, to be honest melee pking is gd(bar the highend having to play for decade to get op event/GP weapons) but gun pk isn't as fun, I used to pk alot on classic and pk'd bit on era I think the difference of ol's it seems just slower combat here maybe if every weapon got little speed boost of shooting etc (all get same boost) it may be bit more fun.
