Adblock never hurts either, but isn't gonna stop you from getting viruses unless its from ads you have clicked.

This. If you want an Adblocker I'd recommend uBlock Origin.

It's probably the most memory efficient and I've found it blocks most if not all ads.

If your doing SFX I prefer you using FL Studio, Been playing with it when I'm bored or when I need something to do for a class project.
It's a great program so far, would recommend for beginners like me.

I've been using AdwCleaner to clean up anything Malwarebytes misses.

You're probably better off just resetting your whole pc and putting windows on it again. Those virus detection programs aren't gonna help if your pc is already screwed up
