I have to write a speech for my english class about anything and I'm not quite sure what to write it about.
Any suggestions?

Maybe do a topic you're familiar with, or an issue that's taking place right now like the elections, Marijuana being legalized (lol). Or the Syrian immigrants fleeing.

Oooo I like doing speeches umm, do it about a topic you will know a lot about.This will make it easier and believe it or not if your not that confident in speaking to crowds this should help trust me.
-If you like football do it about that,
-Going to the theater,
-Places you go to hang out.  

Could do your thoughts on today's elections, unhealthy eating, criminal violence, etc

Thanks for all the help guys, I settled with Arsenals suggestion about the migration crisis though.
