Whenever you get sore muscles you should take it because it helps your body relax and repair those muscles with ease by tendering them down a bit. |

What type of equipment do you need to get into getting into Calisthenics as a beginner? If not any what do you recommend you start out doing everyday because I weigh around 160, but I lift weights. Though it doesn't seem to work much for me.

For a beginner you can start with variations of pushups and situps, then increase your sets and reps as your go. On a side note, you do need a pullup bar. If you have a local park or a nice sturdy tree then you can use that, but if not then go to your store and you can find one for less than $20. After a while of pushups, once you feel that you have entered a more advanced level you can start practicing a frogstand. A frogstand is basically entering a handstand from your knees (without any kick or force involved.) Once the pullups start getting easier, proceed with muscle ups. If you don't know what that is then look it up! There are tons of videos around the web. And don't quit dude! Push yourself. This is great! If you need help just shoot a PM at me. ![]() EDIT: I'm actually really surprised it even got over 100 views just from the forums o-O. I was expecting like 20 lol! |

gj man, but 3% bodyfat? All year round? Most ifbb pros and bodybuilders im sure only cut to ~5% bf before a show and even then they dont stay that way for long due to health reasons/how strict you have to be to maintain at that level. Regardless, you look good, nice thread +rep |

He's a lot lighter weight and white though so its kinda hard to tell just by looking at a low quality picture, but tbh it looks like he totally could be somewhere around 3%, certainly sub 10%. The big thing is really that there is a huge difference in appearance from being on gear at 260 lb at 3%, and natty at 160 lb at 3%. |
