South American connections are the worst of the bunch (on Graal), yet other countries live farther and don't have such terrible lag. So I do believe it's based off of your ISP, and how much you pay... |

I for myself have no lag, but I myself have a few knowledge about internet service providers, since I have a neighborhood friend who works at one. And Country location is also an entire problem playing international games, like Graal, few countries in asia are highly corrupt; Philippines, North Korea, etc. And corruption can be a bad thing in the industries. (In Philippines, I checked that 65$ for 8mbps internet sounds fast? but you only get half of what you're paying for.) I checked Verizon's Internet page and to see if it does make any difference, and it surely does since Verizon has more costumers and due to that more money, more money better services held. While philippines is surely a small country, and less rich people, causing slower services, because of lack of business or simply because of government's corruption with taxes, pork barrel, and etc. And also the countries financial status also counts in business. I might be wrong, but I don't think I'm right. |

Definitely the loading of levels and customs is helpful, though. But my Interwebs is alright. I have been fiddling with the showlag in various areas. Even during Halloween it would seem I'm still getting my normal 38-40ms and 60-65ms in G-City when I have to cut through it on my way to do something. I have noticed, however, I get more spikes when using my mount on 5 (7) bushes and cruising through crowded areas. When I go anywhere else I get the normal 38-40ms. I haven't noticed much of a change since Halloween stuff came out, which is fine by me. That moment when you use the wrong account to post :| |

Still, I cannot stop recommending to get the iPod Touch 6G. Even if it's just for Graal, like mine is. It's like "building" a computer to play your favorite game. If $200 gets me a solid device to play a game I love, I'm down. Quick note: Just threw some money at Amazon for the new Fire 7 tablet, so if I can actually play Graal on it I'll test how it does. I do plan on upgrading my iPad Mini 1G to the iPad Mini 4G sometime soon. I want to get a full setup for a PS4, first. I will see about "tricking" out the iPad just as I did here. The iPad will be used for more general usage, might be less "stable" with apps installed. Whereas this iPod is overclocked and it has Graal. Honestly thinking about turning this thread into a device "review" thread. |

Some countries live far, and delay. While, others who are closer delay + lag. Why? Must be their ISP. Even some people living in the US are starting to delay. Has to be based on their ISP... or then again... could be forced delay. We can never know for sure, until that one "Implement flag based on IP" idea is brought in. But, "Privacy." |
