Getting single use, expendable items for your efforts is depressing. Some poor graalian inevitably gets food in almost all their gifts at christmas... gets only small gralats and fireworks on the spin wheel... etc.

If there's any amount of effort (or expense in the case of christmas gifts) involved in attempting to obtain a random prize, please do not make it food.
Let us buy foods, I know I have had a lot of profit from them, but not have them be the dud prize in a random draw.

That'll be two bits plz.

This.
Tickets or tokens or candies , that we can later exchange for prizes in a shop. This way everyone can get items/hats,ect of their own choice and this will cause less complains because we get to choose our prizes.

Last year, I remembered a lot of players got mad that they had gotten recolored versions of the same hats from their halloween gift bags. So I also feel like this option would be the most reasonable since it seems like not that many hats will be added this Halloween also.

I like the idea of having a prize shop with items that can be bought with candy. Similar to the Token Shop that existed long ago, where you would gather tokens to purchase items with them. While I don't always mind not knowing what I'm getting (other than being told it will be a hat or something), having a shop with items that could be purchased by candy would be great.

I enjoy that its random and you don't know what you're going to get, it makes it that much more suspenseful and entertaining. Buying stuff with a different currency is fairly bland, I never enjoyed it when other servers did it.

Random surprises could still be used for Christmas during gifting season since we can get a lot more prizes and content.
But like LIA said chances are not much hats will be there this halloween, some people prefer hats and some prefer other items... To satisfy everyone the best choice would be a shop where you get to choose your prize only for Halloween.

Well yeah, the way of obtaining the candy is still in the air, but it would be cool to use the candy we get in a shop.

I'd like to see more weather crystals. I know they probably take a lot of work, but maybe there could be a crystal that make fog in your house, or has ghosts appear on your screen. Just some ideas for prizes.
