@Shannon: You'd be surprised what I could do. There's a lot of revs that could make a better server. Dusty could probably make a better server in a week.

But sadly, you aren't in charge. If you were in charge, do you think you could really compete against the current staff? Why not work with them instead of bashing them?

Lmao it's not even that as I don't work for the staff team and neither does Dusty. He just needs to realize that talk is cheap, and if he wants to do it better he needs to make a start.

Storyline? lol. If that's the case for monsters then where do jumping frogs, spiders or even the old swamp baddies(spider water skimmer things) work into this storyline? And when have storylines really defined what baddies you can encounter? In Link to the Past the storyline was that Link was branded an enemy of the Kingdom, hence why Soldiers attacked him... but that didn't stop other enemies like crows, octoroks and other simplier baddies from being part of the game.

I also don't see how slimes aren't very classic-like. Graal was based on Zelda, LttP specifically, and pretty much all of the baddies are just copied from Zelda itself. Zelda has slimes, so why don't they fit?

All I see is a cheap MineCraft reference. The storyline on Classic was the baddies attacked, I'm sure everyone knows. I haven't seen any baddy forts or anything around the map. I would love to see a revamp done on those skimmers instead.

...... I don't even get what the Minecraft reference has anything to do with this. This is about the slimes being baddies, and that is all.

Again, you're going back on your own point. If you're so interested in following some alleged storyline(that is not present in iClassic) then why are you also talking about seeing the skimmers revamped? They have nothing to do with baddies attacking Classic.

It's like you're not even reading what I said.  

Seeker, and RPG is not an RPG until it has slimes and giant rats. Duh.

Not to mention splitting slimes were in the first Zelda. I thought the fact that you reference Minecraft had to do with something else, not the fact that the slimes are in Minecraft.

Is the concept of slimes being generic RPG monsters from the dawn of dungeon crawling gameplay really that unknown?  

Next they will say bats and skeletons and zombies are "copyright" and such.
